Payment of 30kobo like they did last year is possible. Do not also forget that the excess tax dividend which also restricted them from paying more has been abolished. In fact I will not be surprised if they pay 35kobo. EPS at Q3 is already 46kobo

United Capital has 6b shares outstanding. Dividend at 40k will give N2.4b, can they pay out this amount? anything is possible.

That Q4 unaudited results rule is the best thing from NSE since inception. It keeps Investors abreast all year round and help prepare their mind for what to EXPECT @ FY results Or is it because JIJO no longer favor you

Lets see the divergence from AFS first then we will know if that initiative is being manipulated.

If they manage to declare 40kobo dividend, the price will not drop but rise to something like N3.5

They may not pay up to that amount. The coys revenue model is interest income and fee reliant and both fronts are under serious threat. They will need to conserve as much money internally to even have a fighting chance next year. With tanking Tbills and Bond rates as well as dull fee income opportunities it just pays them to conserve internal funds.
