I think one of the purpose of this thread is to discuss about some of these values as well......but you know once the stock is penny, some will think it's more of MH but won't see anything wrong in discussion of big cap stocks. Streetinvestor2: Since it's Morgan (0.5% commission), you are correct. About N600 extra was deducted. Could it be CSCS DCS has a template that applies the maximum 1.35% without regards to concessionary rates from some brokers? I have an account on DCS, no extra charge applies. Sometimes, I get credited with amount (<N100) above or less than value on the contract note. The broker's commission is 1.35%. |

Hedgefunds: 17 years ago, average PE ratio was 21 and average PE ratio for bank stock was higher than that. According to United Capital Research average Price Book ratio is 2.1 Average PE for NGX is 10.3 the average PE ratio for banks should be around 5 or thereabout. The bear is welcome. Bull is longer and sweeter, bear is shorter but brutal 5 Likes |

I discovered that on Morgan Capital, you can withdraw your funds immediately after selling stocks whereas on Meritrade you need to wait 3 days for settlement before withdrawal or you pay an extra fee to withdraw immediately. Why is that the case? 1 Like |
