This is one of the best articles I have read on this site. I think the writer is on point. Creativity cannot thive in the wrong environment and as a nation we have hindered the genius in many. Purposeful and true leadership creates an environment that inspires and drives CREATIVITY which is the BEDROCK of CIVILISATION and of course DEVELOPMENT.

alabiyemmy: What an affront on Nigerian youths. What is this writer thinking about when he wrote this?

I think the writer is on point but you know that there are no "umbrella conclusions " in some areas. One thing sure is that the environment we are ,affects us to a large extent . An environment that encourages creativity will produce more great minds than one which hinders it and allows only for a few to struggle out of it's shackles .

Like someone said Nigeria is one of the easiest places to make money on earth, I sit down and I see tones of great opportunities that can change the lives of people and I ask myself why re Nigerian youths not thinking? Can't they see these opportunities too?

Frankly, you can believe what you want but this guys salary is about a million every month. You must be a nitwit to think everyone starts from the bottom level of any company.

My personal goal at this point is to be worth 1 mil by age 35. Going to need quite a bit of luck to reach this though I think...and probably need a salary double of what my current rate is.

I dont think any school system in the world teaches innovation or creativeness. Ask Bill Gates, ask the guys at Google or even ask Mark himself.

How can any Nigerian youth be innovative when an average youth believes he cant do anything worthwhile with himself unless he travels abroad, or unless he has someone in high places. with such minds, how can they be innovative or creative?

However, it is wrong on the part of the writer to conclude that no Nigerian youth can be a millionaire at the age of 24 legitimately - such conclusions further brings down the psyche of the youth when they are being told by those who should know better that they cant succeed.

Most will blame it on leadership - but then, is it the government that will make you broaden your mind to see endless possibilities laid before you? I like the writer to read books on success and succeeding in life. It has nothing to do with age but on how you are able to use your mind.

With such assumptions above, an average youth is already consigned to a never do well thought process. Guys, you can make it if you want.
so on point like a di*ck head...

Millionaire at 24 is not unthinkable, but e go hard for naija especially if your starting from the scratch. I personally know some, most were from internet business. One was from organising escorts for big boys and gals. In this case I figure we are talking about self employed people. Also please what's redefinition of a millionaire as used in this context.?
