The thing is really bad and worrisome. In my area once there is no light the whole area automatically into war noisy zone especially at night. You can't sleep nor rest. It is worrisome, that is why PHCN needs to perform better at night. In my area, it's always noise galore as you will be hearing different sound of different generator. I remember having a visitor from abroad, she wanted to stay overnight but changed her mind due to noise of generators in the environment.

Very disturbing esp. Early in d morning! Wen day neva break! pepo wld just turn on their noise making generator. Instead of buying a sound prove lik mine!

I thank God for steady power supply. A neighbour's own and his barking dog was a nightmare for me.

thought some were praising GEJ over the stability of power in our various areas the other day? because the last time I checked, some were saying, they do have power for twenty something hours, so I don't really understand why Nigerians are still complaining about the noise of generators at night or better still, complainers can lounge their complains in that power supply thread .

I still shudder when people talk about generators....I have been using inverters for the past one year and its a life saver. I really pity folks without it, apart from the cost savings and removal of operational stress, its a better way to live. At night, i dont know when NEPA takes light or power on...... I still have gen though, but have not bought petrol since June 2012! and my gen is on perpetual vacation

My neighbour uses a gen and sometimes i get disturbed at the moment he is about buying an inverter from me.

where i live,a four storey building,all the eight flats park thier gen beside my window.Just imagine what happens to me on daily basis cos i live on the ground floor.
