NOT IN 2015. The Igbos cannot produce the next President of Nigeria in 2015, even if APC has an Igbo presidential nominee, he cannot win, because no Igbo politician is ready at the moment. |

As much as i believe that everyone, Nigerian, has a right to being presented as a candidate 4 Nigerias presidency, Ohaneze has to do more than speak. 2 Likes |

Ohanaze is on point here. Most Igbo voters will heed their call and support a party that fields a presidential candidate of Igbo extraction. I know that APC permutation is based largely on the touted voting population of other regions to clinch power. But the voting population they count on may not necessarily present a complete picture. To win the presidency, you will need 25% of votes cast in at least 24 states in addiction to winning the majority vote. This is where the Igbo votes counts, and to trifle with this is to make the same mistake Buhari made in 2011. ANPP and AC.N boast of credible Igbos in their midst, it's time to show those men who have sacrificed a lot to these party that their contribution are recognised. What stops AC.N for instance from nominating Ngige as presidential candidate from their party? Or is he only good as merger committee member? How about Rochas that braced the element to join them, is he not worthy enough? Time now for APC to think deeply about Ohaneze's offer, no one can win election in Nigeria without the Igbo votes. You can take this to the bank! 5 Likes |

How can APC field an Igbo candidate when 99% of Igbos will likely vote Jonathan in '15? It is like PDP agents are in charge of this Ohaneze people and are bent on using them again like they did before. |

If not, who are they going to vote for if Jonathan clinches the PDP ticket in 2015, The Igbo candidate or GEJ? |

i tink the south west gave up the speaker seat 4 somtin ...what i have learnt from the Igbo way... is when people keep on saying u are the smartest...my brother go 4 brain examination..u cant be asking 4 Igbo presido.. and be dancing ibiri oh ibiri b4 jonathan back. again, very many time, i hear Igbo people say the don't follow or have leaders...and i always laugh. no society in history has been able to progress without organization, u must have a leader, when u have organization. in two years..APGA would have died with ojukwu..with rochas going 2 d right and obi going to d left. tinubu is not d smartest person around but some pipu has decided to following him, and he has also accepted that this stuff is bigger than him, hence he as also elevated those people in the southwest that he meet in the progressive movement. igbos...probably have the most smartest businessmen, but dull politicians. jonathan can never install the bot chairman, pdp chairman is going to eventually swing d presido sit to the north 2 counter the apc in d north ..the Yoruba pipu have been in power be are quickly repositioning themselves 4 another position ..instead of Igbo negotiating with apc to be in poll position ...them dey vex up and down. one thing is clear..some pdp governors will jump ship.. and if buhari doesn't die b4 2015..jonathan will never 25percent he needs to be presido..even though he may get the highest vote..which will lead to a run off..and Nigerian don't do well in that kind of situation especially if their condition don't improve and of course if apc present a good canditate. 2 Likes |

musiwa10: yorubas are not going to vote for a northerner.. but most likely northerners will likely vote for Yoruba because Goodluck have been a bad president.. so they will be desperate to get rig of Goodluck.. and been to upset, they will not mind all because they want to get rig of goodluck.. they may likely vote a Yoruba man.. But if they field a northerner, the Yorubas will never vote for him, this is what you saw in the case of Atiku, Buhari and Nuhu ribadu.. Will this ibhoe drum stfu? This is not about Yorubas |

ARES: So there is no igbo person in AC, or CPC or ANPP, or is there no yoruba person in PDP, or AGPA. What are u ppl ranting about. Tribalism is what will destroy nigeria. So all the ppl living in the southwest are in heaven because their governors are yoruba, or are all the ppl from southeast having the best lives because their governor are igbos. Non of u ranting I.diots is asking for a credible person, I am ashamed of even being on the same forum with bigots like u The fact that ibo man is a member of any party doesn't mean ibo man must be the presidential candidate by any means including by demand and blackmail regardless of his ability to do the job. Take that warped mentality back to your PDP hole where they practice such corrupt and backward culture. This is what we are trying to get way from. You people are just too backward. The only person you need to be ashamed of is you and only you Look in the mirror for the real tribalist. 1 Like |

peckhamboi: Igbos are really a pitiable lot, it is obvious they don't have what it takes to rule the country, obviuosly from the state of underdevelopment and insecurity in biafra, coupled with inability of igbos to build a meaningful party of opposition right from independence that igbos have no agenda except that of grabbing power. 1 million likes 1 Like |

If APC presents a Buhari Fashola ticket they would win all the 13 states Buhari won in 2011 plus 6 SW states thats 19 states already They would get over 25% in Kwara, Kogi, Taraba, Nasarawa, FCT, Plateau, Benue and possibly Edo. That makes over the necesary 24 states thy need over 25% of votes 1 Like |

seunfly: It seems southeast leaders does not understand the political pamutation that is going on right now, no party that is serious in winning presidential party that is ready to defeat the incubent non-northerner to present southerner. For me i think the best they can get is to present a very credible northerner 4 president and an igbo vice president.you sound very naive and partisan. Igbos have just as much right to want the presidency just as any other non-igbo from any part of the country does. If we were to go by fairness, Igbo deserves the support from others especially the west, they have been patient and have played second fiddle enough. Any political permutation that will have them repeat thesame cycle again is nonsense, I rather stick with the PDP where there is a better chance than stay in phoney arrangement where positions are dictated to us by overspent northerners and southwesterners as if they have more rights than Igbos. It is Igbo or nothing. Let the northerners go for vp. Southwesterners should stop their propagander and myth of thinking that their region alone decides the election or that they have the perfect wand for the igbo presidency which igbos themselves are too heady to see. It is all about agreements, compromises, allegiances, alliances and political manipulation not like you southwesterners are any more influential than others to dictate to others. Enough is enough. 4 Likes |
