UN Women - In July 2010, the United Nations General Assembly created UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. In doing so, UN Member States took an historic step in accelerating the Organization's goals on gender equality and the empowerment of women. The creation of UN Women came about as part of the UN reform agenda, bringing together resources and mandates for greater impact. It merges and builds on the important work of four previously distinct parts of the UN system, which focused exclusively on gender equality and women's empowerment.

Nigerian youths is it nor high time we stand up and fight for what is rightfully ours, I type this with bitterness in my heart after seeing the shedding of innocent blood, young life's cut off for a particular set of people who will not remember us or the country when they get into the seat of power. How long shall we continue to overlook this things. This are the reasons why the whites treat the African man as trash, when we can't value the life of our fellow country men , how else do we want strangers to value us. We must not all die before we talk about this matter. A revolution happened in France because of issues like this. Let's us all come out in one voice and condemn this evil. This will not CONTINUE.

My cousin came to me complaining of the same issue, a guy who has been trying to date her now for 8yrs , the guy has never asked her to be his girlfriend but anytime their are together he will be like I really love you, and starts touching her in the privates or even attempt to sleep with her.
