Facts made me leave religion all together. The fact that all religions are ethnocentric and inherently racist shows that they are man made. There is no universal religion. Arab main prophet for islam that started in Arab lands. Jewish prophets from moses to Jesus for chrisianiy and judaism etc.

So, how are you sure you're not the one living a lie? How are you actually sure that there's no God. You may think you've found the truth but in actuality, it's your truth that you've found.

I am fragile about religious issue. So many people would have change thier religion or stop believing in God if they read thier bible and quran with open mind. Many people read verses in d bible and hadith in the qoran with the aim of not wanting to know the real truth about thier religion manual. I read the bible with open mind, any time i see some thing unusual in d bible i am so quick to question my pastor and deacon about what i saw. Some they have answer for whil others they don't know the answer or have answer for it. Seriously, if people read with open mind i am very sure 60% of religious people will denounce thier religion for some thing else.

If my religion is worth killing for yet I can't start with myself.

As far as I knw, we never chose our religion, our parents chose which religion to follow. Right from our childhood, we were carried to either mosque or church or whatever, and as we grow up, we were initiated into these religions. It is never in our making dat we belong to either christianity or islam, it was our parents dat actually lay the foundation for our belief. About 95% of christians and muslims today started when they were kids and not when they grew up.
If u are a Yoruba man, and u live in the midst of Hausa people, definitely, u will be initiated into Hausa language and culture. That's how religion looks like.
If u are a catholic, anglican, reedeem, deeper life, nasfat, traditionalist or whatever, u were only following ur parents footsteps and not by ur own conviction.

Even if God exists, he is certainly a confused being that doesn't deserve to be worship... NONE OF HIS RELIGION EVEN MAKES SENSE AT ALL.

oluface: I changed from christain to muslim simply because i believe that God is one . Christainity was also formed after jesus departed. Jesus himself was a muslim and not christain. Believe it not not. He has no share in Trinity. He is nothing but a prophet of God just like noah.

Belonging to a particular Church is not it all. There is a big difference between the two.

I think, the question should be... "Why do you even need a religion?"

To answer the question:
I would change my religion if I confirm that it is illogical... then again, NO religion is logical. So even if I believed in any religion and wanted to change... I'd be a free thinker (assuming it is a religion, for having what it stands for.

Christianity is the universal religion except u want to buy into some schools of thought that christianity is not a religion but a way of life. From the mission statement of Jesus, christianity was not for the jews alone but all mankind. Guess u have lost touch with the scripture before u called it quit with religion. U may need to go back and check if that's your reason.
