You just have to reapply, it may not be the reason though.

I have seen peeps who have played the visa lottery get their visas and i have seen some get denied.

The only magic as to getting a date is to keep checking, also make sure you call the embassy careline from time to time to confirm because i remember someone can't remember who got a date from the careline while the site was busy saying no dates were available.

Check very early in the morning and later at night. Be sure to reserve at least 1 out of the 5 trials in case someone drops info about available dates on the thread.

Wish you luck in your hunt...

NOPE...YOU DONT NEED ALL THAT, YOUR PASSPORT WILL BE PINED TO YOUR DS-160 AT THE EMBASSY FOR YOU.....JUST FILL AND PRINT OUT, THEN PROCEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT......

Reading through the thread got me scared again. I was offered admission at LOYOLA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO and its the only school I applied to in the USA. I hope the school is not an automatic denier like you guyz tag some schools?

Please help, the school has no fantastic ranking buh I like the curriculum of the course (MS Information Technology) I applied for and the fee perfectly suit the budget of my awarded scholarship.

Please i will appreciate any information on schools i could apply to and get scholarship and how to go about it. I started M.Sc. in ICT at National Open University, but i wish to abandon that and pursue that in Canada. I also wish to proceed to do my doctorate degree after the M.Sc. programs.

TX is home, Nigeria far from federal republic of Nigeria. 32 to 39, if not 40 degree Celsius hot during summer (hotter than Nigeria sef), some parts don't even get snows. Black port the place is (lot of blacks) and you walk into many Nigerians in areas like Houston and Dallas. So, going to TX, just think you're going to Nigeria in US but some areas like those closer to NM are different in weather and Nigerian distribution (that's where TTU, Lubbock is). Great state too in term of GDP (one of the richest states in US). Chikena!

A lot is wrong with community college(s). I remember bringing this to your attention some weeks back. Your case might be exceptional, it all depends on you and luck.

For account statement verification; I got this info from a bank official that consulates(especially those that uses vfs for processing e.g. France, canada etc) usually call in to confirm the authenticity of account statement. Though banks don't disclose account balance but information like account name, transaction activities(lodgement/withdrawal picked at random) are usually asked by the consulate to confirm authenticity of account statement. So, I feel this can be done at the US consultate if they have any reason to.

You can still go ahead with it but don't mention you applied only to one school. Say 3 or 4 and be ready to come up with your imaginary list of schools, including this one you're going to.

He is out of town, and he is telling me he has not been able to reach his account officer since last week probably he is on leave and have left town. please it is just tomorrow i have left, what do you suggest i do?
