xykms101: Stale News....Mind you converting to drc is not that easy for dssc but rc a lil easier for ssc, dssc has to undergo some combat training which they lack b4 filing for any conversion and this requires a lot of connections not in any form of brain or courses. Besides says who dssc commissioned are in the battle field, Lolz! Deploying dssc commissioned to battle field without combat training is nothing but a suicide mission so stop saying what is not possible bcoz of cheap points, Nigerian army don't gamble with human lives.

Well until u get dere,u knw much beta,even d newly commission officers knw little,until u ar fully in d system.
DSSC officers are strictly adminstrative duties(files n folders)lol.
SSC is for combatant and ruggedity.
Infantry,artillery and Armourer.
For clarity sake,DSSC don't write xams unlik ssc who do write promotional xams,thus ssc is very competitive.

yes, they do go to war as SUPPORT PERSONNELS-engrs,doctrs,pr,etc.

the'll be NO test/exams, but, i was just been told that the list ll be out this week

Five days left for something good in our favour to happen. My follow officers are we still doing our physical trainings such as push up,sit up,runing technical training,hand coiling,hand bicycle riding and so on.

I beliv D reason for d delay of d list maybe because of coas case in court,all of d whole military chiefs have been sacked by a court in abuja. Includin chief of defence staff. Read today nations newspaper

it is left 4 nigerian army 2 decide as regard 2 war front. Bt in respect 2 conversion,in most cases it depend on d coas. D last chief gave automatic conversion 2 d set of dssc and ssc dat wrote d exams 4 d conversion. So d difficulty & flexibility really depend on coas approval and how d individuals(dssc n ssc) hold on 2 dia godfather.

what of veterinary medicine? i cant find it on the dssc and ssc lists but i know the army uses vets. sup with that?

Last year, army recruited about 15 vets, this year they may recruit more because of the dog training school they have established and the need for trained dogs in combating security challenges in the country.

why all these arguments? dssc r 'combat support' officers, they retain their profession even in NA. SSC r combat, they fight war but dssc never fight a war. am trained to save life so dssc ( NA medical corp) is my preffered choice.
