Meet the Robinsons is soooo beautiful. smiley

I always cry at the end during the song These small hours. The tears just flood my eyes- no idea why.

They pulled out all the stops for this one. I wonder who this movie is based on.

Enchanting from beginning to end.

where's the animated movie thread?

visually:

House of Flying Daggers - The colours of the costumes and drapes erc were fantastic and the scenery too
TLoTR - Landscapes; the Battle of Helm's Deep was a cinematic masterpiece; I could even smell the Orcs
TDK & Batman Begins - even the shadows make sense!
Up - Just check the balloons alone out
Ratatouille - Virtual food never looked so good!
Re: Most Beautiful Movies You've Watched? by montelik(m): 2:55pm On Nov 25, 2009
wow there are so many I will to name 4 from different categories
A Beautiful Mind - moving true-life story and great acting. how Crowe didn't get an Oscar I don't know. probably my no. 1.
Collateral - Michael Mann is something else, the directing was great, beautiful scenery and editing. Cruise and Foxx performances were great and different from what you might have expected.
Gladiator - needs no explanation.
The War of the Roses - a comedic classic still has me lol no matter how many times I've watched it previously. Michael and Kathleen had a great chemistry, and then when you throw in DeVito, well.

and an oldie Seven brides for seven brothers - a truly classic old school musical

There's just something about these Asian movies esp. Chinese movies.  They are usually visually stunning.  Sometimes lavish but it works well.

BTW, long time no see smiley
