are commercial banks now part of labour union? Cause i don't think trade union is partaking in this strike. Moreover, where were they the time the state house suspended elected chairman of Obioakpor and his councillors?

Gov Amechi can go ahead to influence whoever, but he should know that he is only creating more enemies from within. This is a case of "nwanza, after a hefty meal, inviting its god for a fight"
Amaechi, pls thread the path of peace else you spoil ur good name at this injury time.

Assuming the strike is to throw off the yoke of tyranny in the banking sector
then great move.

It portends a stytem evolution for checks and balance of naked unrestrained and perverted capitalism
as is practiced in the Nigerian banking sector

Is Labour on sympathy strike for the peoples governor that is being unjustly victimised by the clueless entities?. Rivers state is gradually sliding back to the era of 2005/2006 crises. Elders of Rivers rise and condemn evil before it drowns all.

i have been following the recent developments concerning the issues of the state of affairs of Rivers state...its quite unfortunate wat has happened bw the presidency n the governor, but I don't think we should only listen or see it from one point of view. there r two sides of a coin.. Wats happening is more than wat the ear n eyes see... let's b wise in judgemental conclusion on this matter...Amaechi isn't so saintly as he claims to be, neither is GEJ,but then it takes an action to have a reaction. I rest my case.

Banks never went on strike, but they have to take caution for security reasons. trust some hoodlums may just take advantage of the situation ...
