The arrival of t-die's thermostat, hood release cable and handle marked the end of the wait for all parts to arrive. Everything's now all boxed up, and will be delivered to my freight forwarder to be air freighted to Nigeria.     |

Ran my VIN through an Audi VIN Decoder this morning. Thats a must do for every car so you can get to know the detailed specs of, and information about your car. Today 28th June 2013, t-die's goods departed for Nigeria. Usually, I get goods picked up by courier, for delivery to my Freight Forwarders. But, with today being a Friday, it would mean the goods will arrive at the Freighters on Saturday, a day they don't work. So the next possible delivery day would be Monday. Goods are freighted every Friday at 16:00 hrs, so the logical thing to do was deliver the boxes to my Freighters myself. So by 13:10 hrs, I loaded my car for the trip across Central London, and dropped the boxes off. Regardless of how well they're packed, they are always repacked before weighing. Once this is done, I present the details on a slip to the cashier, who then takes details of the recipient, AND payment. I'm given an invoice, which has the customer reference number, then my work here is done. |

...Then finaly, the strapped boxes are wrapped securely in black cling film. So well wrapped, they'll survive a tropical downpour while they're waiting at their destination airport - in this case Lagos.      |

I would still need some remote support every now and then.Anyways, my appreciation goes out to Siena, he has been of immense help, wouldn't have started this project on a Naija used "dreaded" Audi(if you get what I mean) without his support and advice. For now, I sit back, soak Garri  and wait for my items to arrive... |

Great work Tdie and thanks for the inspiration. I stumbled on this thread while I was suppose to take my babe out for brunch. You can bet she is mad at me cos I wouldn't move an inch until I finished reading the thread. Pls don't let us beg for update. So what color are you going to spray the baby monster when you're done. Can't one commend a good work? @ Ikenna351, before now I saw comments of other members bashing u on how rigid and demeaning u can be, I never knew their accusations were true until now. U just proved it urself. I wish u would open my comment for others to see and judge whether it was a sales advert or not. My feeling is that u are just being jealous of Siena in the way I commended him for being explicit and honest with the supply of t-die's parts.
