Nope, i dont think so, as a woman i am expected to "marry up" not otherwise, and i prefer enlightened ppl to roll with,i had a bf dat was a poly graduate, most of d time he kept taking potshots @ my university education even though i never discriminated against his and i graduate with an above average degree, i think it helps in a relationship if a man perceives he is more enlightened dan his woman, d male ego is a very fragile thing:p :-XNope, i dont think so, as a woman i am expected to "marry up" not otherwise, and i prefer enlightened ppl to roll with,i had a bf dat was a poly graduate, most of d time he kept taking potshots @ my university education even though i never discriminated against his and i graduate with an above average degree, i think it helps in a relationship if a man perceives he is more enlightened dan his woman, d male ego is a very fragile thing:p

That guy was simply jealous of you/and had a complex issue. Personally, I don't think both partners must have equal educational achievements in order to be compatible.

Is Polythecnic in Nigeria, the same thing as community college?? I really don't know what it means/entails embarassed

Yep, I could marry a drop-out, only if he dropped out to achieve his dreams. His dream have to be reasonable and I have to believe in it. It would be easier if he has started making cool money from his actualized dreams though.

If your definition of a wife is one who can cook, abeg take all the non graduates available and save the graduates for men who can offer them better.

educated people cud sometime b very difficult to relate n coincide wit in a marriage, they will stick to their belief on everytin rather than accepting it in a general accepted view dat cud benefit both parties.
Being a graduate doesn't really mean u re educated, most of our ancestors lived solely on natural wisdom without even seeing d walls of academic institutions, yet they were able 2 create n discover most of d tins we so depend upon today.
albert aston eistein said that education is wat remains wen everytin u re tot in school is gone.

The high rate of divorce in d western communities cud b traced to paper education, where couples tink changing partners is the best way of marital problems resolutions, unlike our ancestors who were trained dat marriage is 4 beta 4 worse.

i dont see university degree as yardstick 4 a working marriage.

me already bag my Bsc sha.

Patience Jonathan
Patience Faka Jonathan is the current First Lady of Nigeria and a permanent secretary in her native Bayelsa state. She is married to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan.

Born: October 25, 1957 (age 55), Port Harcourt, Nigeria

Spouse: Goodluck Jonathan

Children: Ariwera Jonathan, Aruabi Jonathan

Education: University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State College of Arts and Science

Bwahahahahahahahaha

Then, she's an educated illiterate. grin

I, Shymexx, abhor illiterates and educated illiterates!!

Paper qualification isn't education per se, education and being educated involve more than that. It involves the individual's thought process, wit, outlook, articulation, consciousness, cognitive reasoning et al.

Being a graduate is overrated these days - just as the name of the institution is also overrated most times. The development of the individual's mind, exposure and other miscellaneous factors count more than the paper qualification(s).
