We are not a Godless country, even if it seems that we have issues with cooruption...this crazy western culture is fast removing all the guards on people's conscience...and hell is about breaking loose. Soon beastiality will soon be dabated in America and father daughter marriage will soon be negotiated...America and the western world...from there oozes forth forces that perverts the mind of men. Even if it is legalized in Nigeria, my own generation won't be a part of it. Perilious times are here. Jesus is coming soon. 15 Likes |

The gay issue is a plot by powerful countries worried about African population growth to destroy African family life and thus Africans eventually. They will even discretely sneak a drug which upset the hormonal balance and forces people to desire their same sex into African countries.Or deliberately contaminate drugs sent to Africa with that chemical hormone destroyer in order to spread homosexuality in Africa. Our culture should guide our constitution.Let those powerful nations first grant every local government in their own countries the power to marry same sex couples before they worry about Africans. 9 Likes |

Even if it is legalized in Nigeria, my own generation won't be a part of it. Perilious times are here. Jesus is coming soon.Shut up! What does God have to do with this.We don't accept homosexuality because it is alien to our culture full stop.We are not "Godless" but we are a nation full of raping and kidnapping,419,child marriage, drug dealers, fathers impregnating daughters and using humans for rituals and cheating in exams etc. Are we more godly than any other country? It is always the brainless that invoke God's name in debates There are so many good arguments against homosexuality in our country and none of them has anything to do with God.Why is it when it come to this we remember God.Do you need gods to tell you not to eat s,hit When it comes to evil Nigeria is probably the most godless place on earth so spare us the "God" crap ! There are so many forces that pervert the minds of men everywhere and plenty of that in Nigeria too so stop the brainless generalizations. Homosexuality has been around long before America or the West. So it is NOT a western thing .At least America gave the world the Internet. What has the "godly" Nigeria contributed to mankind. Please mention one thing of value that has come out of Nigeria. Your Jesus probably was a gay anyway! 21 Likes |

Can Africans or Nigeria take its stand for once and not being influence by these demons in white skin? African is seen as second class humans cos we are pushed to every rubbish they bring to us. We easily give up once we hear the word ''sanction'' or they'll stop their aid towards us. Come to think of it, what is their aim of same sex marriage. Has same sex marriage contributed 0.0001% positively in any society? ...Africans should be aware that there is always a test you'll pass for greatness so we must not fail this exam before us. 14 Likes |

Yes we may not like homosexuality in general but this is true in every country. The law criminalizing it in Nigeria was INHERITED from the British so how can we argue it is their culture? What is happening is the GAY LOBBY are spending money to further their cause and if we must fight them we need intelligent arguments and money not childish logic or gods Africa's population is probably less than that of India. it is th least populated space among the continents.Check the facts! What does homosexuality have to do with population Many gays are married with children anyway.Try and use your brain a little 9 Likes |

0monnakoda: Shut the Fvck up there! The God (yahweh and allah) you are shielding attack from, are they foreign God or your cultural God? I wonder when the choose of grown men finding themselves in a s.exual relationship your own choose of hating them when it is not affecting you? The lawmakers and people in government should shut their crap for defending culture. They haven't done anything to promote our culture. They give honour to foreign culture and faith.....where is national holiday for Ogun worshippers or a day set aside for celebrating our cultural heritage? Yet we have holidays for christians and for muslims.....are this part of our culture? The government should create avenue for promoting before defending any culture. The whole issue of homosexuality is personal choice, government and anybody shouldn't check in into issue which is personal. They should be face with national problems not s.ex in private room 7 Likes |

Gay ke? U mean we should encourage our youths to forget those curvy ass chicks around and pursue their fellow man? If nigeria has never stood it ground, it surely will stand during this gay saga! F.vck obama, f.vck cameron, f.vck gay and LGBT rights. Africans are not and will never be socially ready to accept gay rights. 5 Likes |

Very well please. We dont force our values on other countries and we wont be forced to accept what is not ours. We are against the gay rights bill. If a poll would be carried out, it would reveal that we as a nation are against it. The federal government must stand against this trend. If they think its because of their aid to us that they can coerce us to succumb to them, then to hell with them and their aid. They can go on with gay whatsoever but we Nigerians are not dogs! For goodness sake, what is it that would attract a man to another man? Honestly, this people are not normal. 1 Like |

I do hope they dont bow to pressure. What are the west thinking We were colonised by same, we got over it yet they want us to do away with our cultural practice left with us besides Nigerians are more religious than the whites. We should resist this their new form of civilization in the guise of gay rights 1 Like |

There is a big difference between gay rights and same sex marriage, what the international community is advocating for is gay rights, the abolition of prosecution for gay people, gay marriage is a veery long way off and will never happen in nigeria, there is a fundamental difference in the interest of fairness, freedom of association in a democratic society there is a very strong case for equality of gay in any democratic society and that's what the international community are advocating for 6 Likes |
