It's just my personal designation for them. We had 2 prototype units before this one seen in the video.

The first unit wasn't delivered to the army, the second tranche was delivered to the army for testing.

Then these units seen here were the 3rd to be accepted into service.

The 4th tranche have probably been delivered, but they have not been photographed in the army yet, no public photo yet. They are part of the 30 units ordered in a 1.5 billion naira deal signed with the Nigerian army.

As a defensive platform. They're are suitable for the terrain, pack a lot of firepower and are very nimble and maneuverable.

The usefulness of constant RE training and drills, so everyone knows what to do in a given situation, I think NA is just full of brawns and little critical thinkers, one of the reasons this war is still dragging, you are under attack and your vehicles are bogged down in a choke point..... one of the reasons the lesser armed navy base did better than the army in Baga.

In most militaries actual equipment numbers are classified.

Most European and even the US army are quite transparent about equipment numbers and serviceably because these numbers are reviewed by the MOD and several committees of the parliament. With exceptions for sensitive items like Nuclear weapons & Special Forces these numbers are usually disclosed to the public. In fact this helps the military to articulate their needs towards the government and is not seen as a threat to the defence strategy.

1 MRAP and 1 BTR-4 IFV were providing cover. The other vehicles were 5 vehicles armed with 12.7mm HMGs. Yes bro, that adequate cover.

3 BTRs and at least 1 Reva MRAP moved out to different staging areas, they were not packed together. It's there in the video.

That was a coordinated movement by the army. I see not much wrong in that video.

I don't expect any Arab African country to do much for black Africa, these guys are more middle easterners than Africans, at least in their own minds. But some do deploy though, they just can do more.
