I dont think Nigeria ever paid more than $300,000 for a foreign made MRAP to be honest and many we got for free.

How did we get many MRAP APCs for free?

Big Foot from China - 120

Reva from South-Africa - 43

Ara from Nigeria - 40

Ezugwu from Nigeria- 38

Streit typhoon from Canada - 177

American donated - 24

How is this number many?

Egypt got nearly 1000 MRAP APCs from USA for Free.

Some of you people need to research small abeg.

US 24 is many
There are Chinese donations.
The major point though is no Chinese, Canadian or SA MRAP we got was up to $500k. The US were buying MRAPs with a lot of development costs charged in during Iraq war. The costs made it into wikipedia and boom the myth of $800k MRAP was born

China donated 120 units of MRAPs to Nigeria. That's realm convenient.

What is the cost of an MRAP then, please post proof.

Also go to Nigerian defence budget any year from 2015.
Capital expenditure (Projects) - Procurement of A vehicles.
Divide outlay by a whole number of vehicles with no at least 10 or multiples of 10

PS : I never said China donated up to 120 MRAPs to Nigeria. They donated some was what I said

This means the Ezugwu MRAP APC is within the cost of procuring from China, and cheaper in some cases.

OK you said China donated some, which of the some did China donate?

No MRAPS in your link Sir.

I'm asking for the MRAPs you claimed China donated. I can't see that in the link you posted.

I was at jaji last week and I just laugh at the way our military personnels are trained. We still have a long way to go.

I know I'd criticised the Armed Forces in the past, but their current efforts at producing in house solutions is incredible. More grease to their elbows. Very impressed.
