You are seeing better military equipment, you are talking road.

Security before infrastructure. If we had half this capacity, Boko for not fit disgrace all of us for Kuje yesterday night.
I don't think the Nigerian problem is lack of equipment there are gaps in intelligence collection .

Kikuyu1, with all the Algerian Independence Parade pics, where are all the mouth-breathing small-team tactics fangirls who usually jerk off about "all these assets represent outdated warfare"?
grin grin grin

I actually think some of these guys are learning! They now see why Algeria regularly
holds brigade level live firexes. They know her threat isn't BH/ Al Shabab or ISIL. Idk if you've noticed but the juvenile wishlists of Sues/Subs and S 400s have greatly reduced Yes, there's still tons of education to be gained (which NEVER stops) but overall the debate level has risen.
I rmbr a time for example posters would insist RDVs are useless cause they're unarmoured. When corrected as to roles, function and appropriate nomenclature screeches and tears would follow as fangirls added their 5 kobo intellect to the fire.
It still happens but much less....as for me I follow the first line of the Desiderata here and IRL.

This Administration puts up with clownery a lot

I absolve ministers at times because they are but politicians. It's the minister of state and permanent secretaries that deserve no clemency.

Read statements from the Perm Sec. of the Ministry for example. A sack and legal action should be in his hands

Honestly this administration has broken records of mediocrity. I can't fathom why the Comptroller-General of the Correctional centres is even still on his job. No one is even giving instructions and deadlines to effectively control this situation. Everything is just messed up.

Our problem is more equipment, but intelligence gathering which is poor.

Nigeria got alot of problems. I keep saying that the Nigerian problem is like a big Iroko tree with branches, a stem and roots. The Nigerian authorities keep cutting the branches and scratching off the barks from the stems. Meanwhile, the solution to the problem is cutting off the roots entirely.

The Nigerian security issues start right from the recruitment process and military depots. Where if you don't have people in top places you can't get admitted or recruited. People are not selected by merit but by "connection" and bribery. People fake their certificates and come here. Alotta people who are recruited are way older than the age limit. The authorities don't care about background checks as far as they get what they want. Only a few makes it by merit.

These makes it possible for moles and fifth-columnists to penetrate the security agencies.

Corruption, mismanagement, illiteracy, religious extremism, tribalism, poor followership and poor leadership are the main roots of the Nigerian problem. Intelligence gathering, equipment and manpower are just the "branches on the tree".

Nigerians are not ready yet to make this place better, maybe till Aso villa gets burnt. The people are uninspiring and still playin with this fire that will lit this gunpowder.

Thats an FV-107 Scimitar. Has a high velocity 30 mm L21 RARDEN cannon instead of a 76 mm cannon on the Scorpion. This was previously not in NA inventory and most likely a new purchase. This gives NA their first IFV platform since the BTR-4E. This is ideal for the kind of was NA is waging.

One is a democratic government where no one is above the law.
The other one is a one man show where he is above the law.......that's the difference.
