one cannot make sweeping statements regarding one against another considering the plethora of weapons available and corresponding lack of commentator experience regarding the same.

take the example of AShM

western nations rely on stealth , advance seeker sensors among others

Russia relies on speed , AI based swarming/co-operative engagement technology among others

but this again is not final since west will/is going to emulate Russian AShM features and again Russia will/is going to emulate western nations AShM features.

so on what basis r u going to say which AShM is better and by the time and if (a big if) ur able to make judgement , ur opinion will be useless since new versions will be out as basically everybody will/is trying to close the gap continuously vis a vis each others weapons systems in all parameters based on their capabilities. it is a constantly evolving work , that is why u see upgrades after upgrades and new iterations of weapon system. sometimes even the operator is the dark regrading the weapons capabilities old or new.

and there r very few people in the world who r well qualified to pass such judgement on weapon systems since it encompasses multiple domains and technology and airtight secrecy.

Unfortunately the Oryx still out preforms all medium lift choppers in its class, we'll have to develop an OryxMK2 to have a worthy replacement for the current Oryx!!

Denel could acquire a licence to make a modified version for our needs. We do exactly what we did to the Puma and wala an Oxry 2 is born..... We have the experience.
