Ibigo: Well the highest i've used is 5-6MB/sec with my MTN modermplease which country are u in? If u r in Nigeria then i guess what u mean is 5-6kb/s not mb/s.please do the correction.so that we dnt give honour to whom(MTN) does not deserve it.<sory 4 my gramar.> |

.. I get speeds up to 3MB/sec but on average it's around 850KB/sec. I use glo bolt SS Nigeria. Bt Internet bundles r quite expensive.. Bt @Op, I'm curious.. Is it the speed of the wireless/wired connection within the office's internal network or the speed of the Internet connection? |

higherst i have ever hit was with wifi which was 2mb/sec but most times with wifi d speed is 500kb/sec but airtel modem is d best when it cums to speed |

With 3g using my Nokia It is 400kbps during the day, and about 600kbps during the night. But this happens only when I'm in asaba. With 2G about 30kbps and about 50kbps at nights. |

For Clarity, there is a stark difference between Mbps and MBps Mbps is Megabit per second while MBps is Megabytes per second, invariably, u divide xMbps by 8 to get it's equivalent in MBps, there 45mbps or 45Mbps or 45 MegaBITS per second will give you 5.6MBps or 5.8 MegaBYTES per second.
