hahahaha they call these poor structures airports in 2013? Haba even some 3 star hotels in Europe got far better structures than what am seeing here ,they spend so much to achieve so little yet Nigerians in their usual gullible nature celebrates. 2 Likes |

ifebosco: Maybe you mean 'flying' is for the elites.Airport provides massive employment for the people NOT flying! Try Heathrow airport (London) or Charles De Gaulle (Paris) and see level of employment for example. If you get those airports working round the clock that is 3 shifts of 8 hours each at the airport. Don't forget other 'feeder' jobs like taxi, buses, private car park operators, hotels, restaurants, more police employment, more civil servants employed, shops etc etc Nigeria's biggest problem is that we operate an 8 hours working time per day. When Nigeria's businesses improve to the 24 hours model obtainable in most cities overseas then we go enjoy! Instead of employing 1 person, 3 will be required. You can do extra shifts and get paid. The run-way was extended and I think a new bigger run-way was constructed. Generally, it is work in progress. Blame previous governments for NOT doing ANYTHING at-all 4 Likes |
