Jona and his team is trying to cross over to the other side of the roughest sea after independence. A sea no one has ever attempted to cross. When the devil was questioned as to why he is moving to and fro? He responded by saying he is only looking for those to be devoured. Jona, as you struggled to carry this cross called Nigeria to atleast beyond its former destination, May those devil like (haters) Nigerians moving up and dawn looking for your downward fall fail to laugh last. May God and the wishes of all good Nigerians be with you. Do not be tired. While I agree that many nigerians are neck deep in ethnicity, remember that majority will vote on individual performance and not party basis

Nigeria business men are bad investors. You mean all these power stations can only generates a little bit over 5,453 megawatts? We still have a long way to go in our country. Imagine, these are the power stations they have been politicizing and wanting to kill themselves on. We can't develop a nation with a meager 5,000 megawatts. South Africa generates over 30,000 megawatts of electricity while China generates over 100,000 megawatts. Nigeria politicians and leaders are useless and lazy. Our politicians politicize everything to be re-elected back to their...Fashola is trying...haaa, Amechi is the best, no Okoracha is the man. We should stop deceiving ourselves. We still have a long way to go.

I have nothing to give you but @ least I can like your post. Nigerians are very backward and they are the cause of the problems facing this country. Always happy with mediocrity.

Does this mean that a private investor can now invest in power in Nigeria?

I mean, if I wanted to build a power station now, can I do so?

That would be a very good investment.

The pertinent question to ask is- What was the cost of building these power stations? At what cost are they being sold?' I hope tax payers are not being taking for a ride.

They are selling 80% stake for $6Billion when the cost on the plants so far is $8Billion plus. . . That means we're losing over $400Million on this deal. Or is my math wrong ni?

I'm not sure how old you are, but wiser heads will tell you that in Nigeria, it is better not to count your chickens before they are hatched.

I'm sure years ago someone was rejoicing about 'Vision 2020'...where we dey now?

We were promised a crash in cement prices...still yet to materialize. We were promised an end to Boko Haram last year. Fighting still goes on.

be wise.
