oly4jesus: am an animal scientist seeking for job 08032193086 or spea2anel212@yahoo.com

Instead of simply "seeking for job" why not start by giving FREE advice online, like here, in a PARTIAL manner that shows you can give REAL VALUE to your clients. This can only be enhanced by your own practical research- remember GOOGLE is your friend. Thereafter you start charging them small fees and encourage them to grow their business, which will also allow you grow the fees you charge them.
It will also be useful if you do VOLUNTARY free services to cooperative societies at FIRST and charge them later when they get used to you and see the added value of your advice & service.
You can also raise some of the animals yourself, even if na to start on a small, micro basis.
Good luck!!!

poultry is one good business venture I would like to encourage youths to go into, i picked interest in poultry raising when I was just 14,I raised birds mostly for family consumption, now that I Am three years older I can say am one successful poultry house owner, it wasn't all that nice when I started, my very first attempt on raising chicks in commercial quantity was such a disaster ,out of about forty layer breed I was left with only three i mean just three and I lost the birds to a bacterial infection. though. I was ill -informed at that tym, so. what point Am I making. it dosent always look good in the beginning, but.with time progressing you would get much familiar with the whole thing. hey and always seek professional advice, and keep backup cash for emergency disease out break.. shout. out to all my smart teen agers the future starts now!

Wow, thid reminds me of my service year
i reared 100 broilers, 9 died before 3 months. It was tasking but fun.
Poor marketing and timing killed the financial gain
i did it around may to october.
I got my capital and expences with little profits though.
Planning going commercial but this time i am going Layers.
( that feeling u get when u finally see ur birds growing feathers and insulating themselves, also that feeling u get when u open the cage to feed them and they all start flying around even before u open the cage)
all in all its a business for the strong hearted and u need physical cash at all times for emegencies

Dis is a reali commendable thread OP.
As an Agric Engineerin undergraduate, I had grown interest in farming long since primary skul. I raisedpoultry birds too. Last year, I started wit abt 4turkeys last year & 3 died as a result of overdose Dewormin mixture i gav dem. Dis year i bought upto12 7 weeks old turkeys in April nw only 4 remains.
I also raised 8broilers but to my surprise dy al died last week as a result of a severe widespread virus wit Coughin& inactiveness r part of d symptoms last.
Plz if any1 knw d kind of drugs 1 can use 2 cure n prevent dis in d future sud plz suggest.
Tho I'm plannin 2 visit a large scale farm dis weekend so dat i can knw aw dy practice over der. ThkQ OP.

Meehnnn! This is 1 business I look forward to doing someday, but the finance for large scale is not available yet. Last xmas period i reared 150(3 cartons) from Day old stage till Marketable stage. The mortality rate was around -22 and their death was mainly dew to my bein novice in the matter. O boi! When time for sales came ehn, i reaped bountifully-selling for an average of #1200 per one in my locality.
....ooh i almost forgot the chicken SUYA we were doin everynow and then.

I have what it takes for your birds to survive from bird to adult without medication. It is for your own interest for those especially that want to go in chicken business.
The product is just use for the liquid intake, that is all. The birds or chickens get bigger in sizes and having an alkaline cells system that will not making it impossible to be sick or die.
