In the absence of meat and there is mushroom,I won't even think twice! I would eat it;mushroom taking the place of meat. I'm even used to doing without meat these days. I can eat a food without meat,so long as it is delicious.

I can't eat lunch or dinner without meat or fish(though i don't like fish) for breakfast i don't care so far as i wil take tea or something drinkable apart from water.. That's how it goes in our family

jidegirl12: I prep them into portion and throw into freezer for times like this, takes less time to defrost , I season them and same with Tofu too, I season and bake them to dry out the moisture.
