There are a million reasons why relationship end, but infidelity, bad timing and lack of chemistry are probably the most common. 1. ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM

You have drastically changed your appearance so that your partner would find you not attractive.
You and your partner are constantly fighting.
You are being physically and sexually abused.
You always feel like you deserved more. etc

2. Make a decision.
Never make decision when you are angry. Take time to consider the consequences of all your possible actions.
3. Find a neutral setting.
The best place to talk is a private setting. Find a place where two of you can always express yourselves.
4. Choose your words carefully.
Start by lettin your partner know how much you value your relationship. Tell him what you have gained or learned. E.g you are a great guy, but.....
5. Prepare for backlash.
If your partner starts throwing out verbal and emotional slings and arrows, resist temptation to fight back or better walk away.
6. Don't blame yourself.
Note that you are doing it for the good of both of you. So far you are doing it with honesty.

And lastly:
MAKE A CLEAN BREAK.
A few days or week after your break up, you may start to remember your partner. You may start to thinking about all the good times you had. There are normal and natural feelings, but it is important not to act on them. Keep your distance. No matter what, DO NOT DIAL OR TEXT. Booty calls are strictly off limits.
