Hello pharmily... Please i need advise. I just got inducted into the Pharmacy profession but i will relocate abroad by April due to marriage. Should i commence my internship and leave in April, or not commence internship at all. Also can i practise abroad when i haven't done my internship in Nigeria.

Please help a sister, am so confuse right now.

One of the requirements to transfer your practice abroad is a letter of good standing with PCN. Induction without internship does not confer full registration.

So many community pharmacy are searching for the best inventory management software for their business. They know the importance of a good one. They make work easy and also provide important information as to the growth of the business.

For example, you can save chlorpheniramine 4mg tab emzor on intalia. You can type chlo emzor tab, tab emzor chlor, emzor tab chlorphe, etc and still get the same result. The buttom line is that the spelling must be accurate even if it is not complete.

2. When you buy new products, you enter them into the software. It is a breeze. If you set the markup, Intalia will automatically calculate the selling price. You don't need to be using calculator to calculate the final price. The advanced features of intalia is that it can round up the selling price to the nearest whole number set by you. Let us use an example. If you are selling using 40 % markup, a product of 260 will sell for 364. But because of change, you may set it to 370. The software will round it up to the nearest 10. You can set this rounding up to any figure you like like 20, 30, 50, etc. If 50, the selling price of our example will be 400.
3. You can also set the markup for different price range. For example, you can decide to use 40 % for products their cost price is below 500 and 30 % for products that are above 1000. And the software will do the calculations automatically.
4. Many at times, you set lowest quantity for each product before getting an alert to restock. How do you feel when a software using your 3 month's sales predict your minimum stock for each product and give out an alert. Will be wonderful I guess. Intaila does just that.
5. Purchasing is easy. Get digital pricelist from your supplier. Filter what you want to buy from your stock or pricelist, set quantity, download and send to your supplier. Your supplier can send in a digital invoice, upload it and the system automatically calculate your selling price with it. Stress free.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Rivers State Branch has organised a Pharmacy Week with the theme of the week being ''Better Health Care Outcome Through Pharmaceutical Care''.

The week started with a church service on Sunday, 21st September 2014.
A sensitization walk with theme: ''Pharmacists Walk Against Ebola Virus Disease'' was held on Monday 22nd September 2014.
The opening ceremony and key note address is scheduled to hold today, Tuesday 23rd
September 2014 at the Main Banquet Hall, Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt.

The highlight of the week will be on the 25th September with the theme of the day's event being : "Access to Pharmacists is Access to Health" at the Girls Secondary School, Abonnema.

A highlight of the week would be the 3rd induction/oath-taking ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt on Friday 26th September, 2014.
