Solution:
This is a simple case related to sum of an A.P.
The equation is (49,875,078=n(n-1)/2)-(23,041,866=n(n-1)/2)
Solving each seperately and collecting like-terms, the answer obtained is 3,199.......one can alternately solve it using the full formula for sum of an A.P(s=n/2(2a+d(n-1)) for each of the values and add '1' to each of the answers before subtracting(the addition of '1' being a pre-requisite to represent the no of people)

I got it up to n^2 - n - 99750156 = 0. I couldn't factorise it.
