What do you do when you find yourself romancing a cheap lover?

assuming the guy is doing well for himself but his watchword is save save save. He takes you to cheap restraunts, only buys stuff on sale or with coupons and extremely stingy/thrifty but generally he's a great guy. Will his economic conservatism disable his being a great guy and be a plausible reason to dump him? Remember that cheap guys don't ever change even when they come into $12B fortune. You may be dealing with his cheap mentality for the rest of your life. What will you do as a lady?

Scene 1:

Hannibal: ohh no, I'm good. I prefer to put my money in stocks and bonds to wasting it on trivial things like car besides, this car still runs good .
