I really need to be enlightened as iam so confused.Been going out with this guy ever since ASUU strike began and even at the earliest stage of our been together he always reminds me that i look so much like his late mom but suprisingly seeing her pictures i see no clearcut resemblance between us and often wonder why he says so and knowing he loved his mother could not make me dissuade such thoughts from his mind as i know whats it like to lose ones mom.What iam so scared of is the fact that whenever he expresses his love for me what follows suit is to tell me that iam just like his mother in all ways.....could this love or obsession?

I'm not even sure what this means.
Personally i have a problem with people comparing me to someone else especially their mother, but I guess that's a compliment for some guys--especially those who were attached to their mum. It would probably mean you possess some qualities he saw/sees in his mother and loves you for it.

OR the less pleasant interpretation could be that he has mummy issues and has found someone else(YOU) to leech on . In this case, i'll you to take your bags and pointy shoes and run.


But his bringing up his mother everytime he tells you he loves you just doesn't sound right to me In fact it sounds everything but ok.
