Carol (2015).....7.5/10 Great relationship between Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett. Not as erotic as I had hoped but it's a good one. Engaging story nonetheless. Great acting from both women. |

Weekend Movie - Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) Wasn't planning to watch this initially. But then I saw it on PSA and just felt this urge. Decent audience scores helped sway me too. 1 Like 1 Share

Show girls- 7/10 - I just wanted to see pole dancers twerking - true story, I couldn't find this movie anywhere, but I found it on x videos 😂😂 a good movie tho in my opinion Jaws - 9/10 - Definition of a perfect movie and the second block buster after the Exorcist Casablanca - 7/10 tbh I didn't understand the movie Taxi Driver- 6/10 it's a shame I didn't get the movie at all, it would have been a 3/10 but because it's a Scorcese movie let me not disrespect the goat. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 7/10 forgettable but fun Naked Weapon 2/10- I forwarded this movie like crazy, I only decided to rewatch because it was the first time I saw breast in a movie when I was little- nostalgia🌈🌬 |

Apparently this past Saturday was Cinema day in Nigeria. Most Nigerian cinemas were showing blockbuster movies at a discount. Any movie for just N1000 naira  Some people spent their entire day at the cinema watching many movies including Equalizer 3 |

Kingdom 2: Far and Away....9/10 A Japanese movie of War and Political thriller based on the manga and anime by the same name which I've been following since 2015 and still ongoing... The story takes place during the era of the warring States of past China, where the king of one of the warring States (El Sei) planned for unification of all the states to become present day China It follows a boy by the name of Shin whose goal is to become a Great General of the Heavens of the state of Qin Kingdom, both parts 1 and 2 have been one of the best manga and anime adaptations ever. Although it's made by Japan and not Hollywood The production value is pretty good for a Japanese movie and features large scale warfare. It also takes times to focus on characters and their goals While the first movie focused on the struggle for power between El Sei and his brother and introduced a cast of characters like General Ouki, Yotanwa (one of my favorite characters).... This second movie focused on an assassination attempt on king El Sei and a war against a large army of the state of Wei at the battleground of the Gukan plains... There was a huge focus on Shin, despite being a mere infantry solider, learning what it means to be a Great General... It also focused on the first introduction of Kyou Kai and her clan and backstory and motivations Kyou Kai and her fighting style was well adapted...it is obvious why *spoilers - Shin fell in love with her in the future and even proposed to her in the latest chapter of the manga I read today.

A character I missed so much and I wish was in Kingdom 2 is Yotanwa Although I've read the manga since 2015 so I knew she wasn't in this arc... But omo I miss her I'm a big Yotanwa simp...  And she's pretty af both in the manga and the first Live action movie

Anyhow, biko make una dey help with this info too. I didn't even know there's a cinema day in the U.K or U.S, last Saturday was the one I didn't work in like 6 weeks, I'd have woke at the cinema and seen Oppenheimer where it's supposed to be seen. I just thought it'll soon be out for download so no need to spend on it again. Now I really should have gone.... |
