of the SUG about the issue of the cutoff mark. His statement below:

• It is stale to say the cutoff mark for intending
FUNAABITES has been hiked to 200 and above
(herculean task maybe), a decision that has been
met with much jeers rather than cheers in the
public eyes!

it was not a man's decision but an unanimous
decision of senate

• VERIFIED STATS
15 000 intending FUNAABITES made 180 and
above

• FUNAAB can only acquire 3500 of them
If the cutoff is at 200 and above, then 6400
applicants will be eligible to write the post utme
The benchmark for some colleges can be hiked
further beyond 200 due to survival battle and
limited slots

• CONCLUSION:
It would have been easier for senate to put the
cutoff at 180 and go ahead to use 200 under our
noses thereby making as much as 15 million naira
from the poor applicants and yet go ahead to obtain the ones above 200

• The school can only admit 3500 of them, so I see no
reason why they should provide unwarranted
competitions for those ones that made 200 and
above either from the bigwigs of the society or the elites.

• I know this is catching us off - guard but please let us credit the sincerity that accompanies the
Senate's decision

Nobody will know.. The skul av the chance to exploit revenue from over 9000 pipu buh they didn't; this is what the SUG president is trying to pass across 2 everybodi..
