My gearbox was licking oil and I went to a mechanic, they told me that is from the gearbox pump which i changed and it was moving fine. as i was driving, I slow down at a police check point. And when i tried to accelerate it was not driving. But it reverse.
Please what could be the cause?
What should i do?

1998-2000 and 2001-2003 basically have the same design. There was a facelift from 2001 and they also incorporated the VVT-I technology. The facelift is the better version.

And he said, there is a spring that should be adjust in the valve body.
Am confused, I don't want them to spoil gear box. Please help me....

i bought a new engine for my Toyota Camry 2008 model, serviced it with Total Qwartz 5000 , i have done about 1,200 only to check the oil this morning and its at half of the guage mark. What's the cause please, is it from the oil or the engine please?

Good morning my people,

I need answers to why my Toyota corolla 2005 model makes a whistle sounds for about 3mins when I start the car in the morning or anytime the car engine is cold.
It doesn't make this sounds when the engine has been running for say 30mins and I off and start it again before the engine goes cold.

A rewire told me it's the fan engine that was making the noise but after changing, it turns out not to be the cause.

What could be the culprit, pls.

Your belt is what's making the noise. If you can afford to buy original belt, your problem will be solved.

Note: original belt is expensive.

You can also ignore the sound since it goes away after a few seconds.

Sometimes, a weak belt tensioner also causes the noise.

Honda Civic 2005 idles very low with ac ON when temp outside and the engine temp gets warm.
Sometimes the engine stalls while at stop light (in drive).
Idle works well without AC ON.

What is the likely cause?
Please advise. Thanks

N.B: IACV replaced twice, Total Engine Coolant in use.

On motion the "grin" light blinks on dashboard and the ATF is spent already cos it's no more red in color.

So, I'm changing it.
