Nollywood Actress, Moji Olaiya who recently converted from Christianity to Islam has disclosed why she made the decision.

Speaking with Encomium magazine, the single mother of one, said, “honestly, Islam is a peaceful religion. The aspect I love most is that you don’t need any pastor to get closer to God. You don’t really need anybody to pray for you. You can always pray on your own and Almighty Allah will answer your prayer without any intermediary. I have been doing that since I became a Muslim and it has always worked for me. ”

Debunking claims that a man she’s dating influenced her decision, she said
“That is the problem I have with people. When you say you are doing something, they believe a man must be responsible for it. No man influenced my decision to identify with Islam. I have just said it, my mother was an Alhaja before she converted to Christianity. Islam has been a religion I have always loved. I have been in-between Christianity and Islam but just recently I decided to embrace Islam fully and there is no regret doing so.”

if we have to write stories of people that converted From Islam to Christianity this forum will not be able to contain it, I am one of them born and brought up a Muslim, my father died a Muslim my mother is still a Muslim but today am washed by the blood of the lamb

in Christianity we celebrate changed lives
people claim to change religion and their lives remained the same
converting to Christianity doesn't guarantee heaven only salvation in Christ Jesus does

it's a free world, but I don't see the reason why announcing when one changes from Christian to Muslim... i know how many people have converted to Christian but that doesn't call for announcement

Most people who convert from Christianity are those who never really practiced it. If she had cared to practiced Christianity beyond the mere answering "I am Christian", she wouldn't have had the misfortune of making this grave mistake. However, she could still use her good office of Islam to plead with her brothers to please #BringBackOurGirls.
