I'm only imagining what planet earth would look like, in the event of a nuclear confrontation, considering the unfortunate large number of nukes at the disposal of the two feuding parties. It took just two nuclear blasts in 1945 to put Japan out of the 2nd world war. They have not fully recovered till date. And don't think the bombs will only land in those two countries. Russia singlehandedly fought most of the Second World War against Germany, and were even the First to conquer Berlin marking the end of the Second World War, U.S came in late in the war after the Pearl Harbor incident.
