So during his term in office he has done so much for Nigeria's healthcare system that he and his wife must come to Germany for medical treatment?

There is not even one decent hospital in Nigeria? No well-trained doctors? No proper medical equipment? No effective medication?

Where are his citizens suppossed to go when they cannot afford a journey to a country like Germany with one of the best healthcare systems in the world?

Mr Jonathan, you must be very rich to afford Germany and really mistrustful of Nigeria's healthcare.

Sirniyeh: The problem with our politician is that, they subject themselves to sudden death due to negligence to their health status.
.
Healthwise, Jonathan is weak and can not withstand the tussule of the next four years as president. But some people are encouraging him to continue till 2019.
.
It's only a greedy person that will consider wealth more important than his health. All is vanity if there is no good health.
.
Jonathan should just quit for rest for the sake of his health. God forbids it happens, you all will blame God.
.
Jonathan, my advice is that, return safely and implement National Conference Report, then resign. Because the pressure of 2015 may cause lots of damages to your health or your wife's.
.
Wish you well
Yaradua too knew he couldn't cope, yet he held tightly to the reigns of power until he expired!
Let's hope the heavens are not having a laugh at Nigeria's expense because if anything should happen to Jonah now, the Abokis will automatically take over and all those clamouring for 2015 will queue behind Sambo!
And if the South-south shouts, they will ask:"where were you when doctrine of necessity made Jonah acting president'?
What goes round, comes round.

maestroferddi: You have a way of sounding grievously preposterous.

Jonathan is a politician in case you have chosen to develop a selective amnesia on that.

You chose as NARD cum NMA to deploy all means and avenues within your purview to press home your demand. Infact you went the whole by embarking on what is generally a self-serving strike to paralyse, in all intents and purposes, the national health architecture.

Jonathan, as the boss of all bosses, on his own part elected to serve you a dose of your own medicine by exploiting some intricate nuances in the national employment laws.

You forgot that there are sundry privileges you guys are enjoying at the instance of the government which are withdrawable should political considerations be factored in.

Dude, stick with what you know as you apparently dont know jack about politics and political expediency.

Some of you guys were initially bragging about how the government was going to come back to you cap in hand.

I am sure reality is gradually sinking in as some of you guys are presently scurrying from one media house to the other to whip public sympathy and sentiment. The rest, like you, have been shouting themselves hoarse while trying to drum support from whoever cares to listen.

It is so ironical that you guys are falling back to the rest of society for support. The same people you guys, in rather egotistical vainglory, deem of lower intellectual capacity.

you are the one sounding preposterous. what does APC have to do with the doctors strike? you said it,not me. the burden of proof is on you.
by the time one begins to reduce everything to PDP-APC, they have often times run out of ideas.
leave the NMA wahala, and prove to the rest of us how NMA has become APC, otherwise you are just another e-thug that should be relegated to the background.

my guy even if we procure such facilities as stated by you, it is still not safe for him. I bet you, no president from nigeria would want to risk his/her life considering the level of reasoning among our politicians.

Nigerian docs are on strike. Jonah has sacked 16000 resident docs. If he stays, unless he wants treatment from TB Joshua grin or Christ embassy, so its Germany sou-sei...no brake, no jam.
As Shin a Peters would say:"We wish him soonest rekofa"! grin

Even if Nigeria is having hospital a million times better than those in Germany, I will prefer he goes out side even for much lower ones. Even apc members or boko haram members who are his core enemies will never agree that GEJ will take or under go treatments here.
He will surely return home shortly

The president flew out secretly to germany 4 a medical check up does nt neccesary mean, that we have no better hospital in the state but at tyms to make his sickness a secret so as nt been described as weak by his followers or a failure by his antagons, just as generals in d war front will neva let ordinary soldiers knw he is injured so as nt to weaken dia morale

no leader uses nigeria hospitals ,even during the time of the military. I can remember vividly when ahiggbe was the governor of lagos state he categorically stated it that he doesn't use nigerian hospitals. So don't single out Mr president. And why will he use when even nigerians are supporting medical doctors to go on strike. The rot been experienced in nigeria didn't start with gej and it won't end now, nigerians have to come together and know that the job of nation rebuilding and development isn't that of gej or fg alone. Even tinubu and his apc members how many of them uses the hospitals in their states?

How Nigerians wish they could travel out for medicare along with Mr president. TAN has been crying in our ears for a long time now.. is this how Nelson Mandela did it? He has effectively closed down our hospitals and has gone out for treatment. There is God o! There is God o! If the doctors there were on strike will he go there? How will our health system ever improve? Why are our leaders not willing make use of the health system they claim to have transformed? Nigerians should be wise and demand exemplary and sincere leadership.
We pray you Get well soon and hope u fix our health sector! Certainly suspending or sacking doctors is not one way of doing it.
