Nothing much..Just that between my age 4 to 8 whenever am d first to wake up my mum knows av turn the room into a pond..Mothers sha,God Bless our mothers.

mine wasn't funny @ all o! to the extent I urinated on my bunky in my jss1. Though I was still tender then. But the shame and mockery made me to pray to God to take away the 'cup' from me and HE did answered me.

I stopped bedwetin very early(i wsn't up to ten then)

Remember what some kids used to do then. When they realised they had bedwetted in the night, they would quickly change their wet clothes and push their siblings to the wet side of the bed and goto the dry side. Later in the mornin, the sibling will now become the culprit...lol

I stopped at 14,it was very bad to the point that myself and my younger sister were competitors then! I don't even wana talk about. My growing up was not really pleasant!

Mine was horrible, almost everyday back then when I was a kid, I was always dreaming that i was playing football or something and I will assume urinating just beside the field, but when I begin to feel something warm that when I will know the almighty rain has fallen.
To make matters worse, my grandma so much believed its was the witches around that has possessed me.

and I could have stopped earlier just that I was lazy and was afraid of the dark due to the size of the house......after watching all those occultic nollyood movies with my mum late at night;standing up to go and wee wee late in the night was unimaginable

I stopped when my siblings were always tauting me inthe presence of my friends

I remember mine! And twas one of d most embarrasing moments in my lyf, I stopped bedwetting at a late age,around 14, and I also finished second sch around 15yrs, 2 yrs later I travelled 2 my uni for their post utme, after writing d exams I decided 2 visit my home town since it was not far frm there,I spent 2 days there, on the night that I was 2 leave,I played football and I over fed dat night, I never knew wat came over me, na so I sleep wake up 4 night and saw dat d deed had been done. I was near tears. I waited till morning after everyone in d room had gone outside,I carefully turned d bed upside down, hoping I wwould b long gone before it was noticed, my uncle later came and drove us 2 church since it was a sunday, before I came back I met my cousin cleaning d room and d bed was outside in full public glare, I simply entered arranged my clothes without asking for tfare I left. Years later one of my cousins picked a quarrel wit me, and all she kept on saying was dat d schooo(uni) where I now study is dat"I am feeding my room nates wit my urine. SMH after dat incident I never stepped foot there again.

Things I noticed about bed wetting:
1. It's hereditary..
I can't prove it but based on my observations, some families do have at least one or more bedwetters and if the parents would be sincere, they probably had the issue when they were kids.

2. It occurs most frequently during rainy reasons. I don't know why it's so but experience taught me that.

3. If you discuss bedwetting at night, there's a 90% percent chance you'll bedwet that night.

4. Most bedwetters don't drink water at night. However, note that if you had soup (especially okro) or any meal that has lots of vegetable for dinner (and enough of it too), the 'wet experience' will be your portion that night.
I'll dish out more observitions if need be.

I had this issue for a long time that you wouldn't even want to hear when I stopped; I mean I was old enough (post primary school) to sit down each morning after it happens and take record of events that occured the previous night, and that was how I got to figure out the major factors that lead to bedwetting, and the pattern it follows.
My parents and siblings were very supportive and no one outside our nuclear family knew I was bedwetting.

For parents: scolding your kids or letting it all out that they bedwet and letting people (even their immediate sibs) make fun of them or even casually joke about it is very bad. You're simply frying their self esteem in a frying pan. Lol.
Support them and help them figure out what works for them in an attempt to quit bedwetting.

I can perfectly relate, bro. Most people won't understand but it's one of the most frustrating feelings anyone can ever have. That moment when you just wake up and realise you "did it".

Mine was a terrible one. I always dreamt that I was playing football, then I felt pressed, only for me to go to a corner of the field to pee but lo and behold; 'guy man don piss full house'. . Chai! See embarrassment!
I finally stopped bed wetting when I got to secondary school.
You need to see the way I react when my children bed wet these days as if no be me dem take am resemble. Even when I shout and spank them, deep down in me I know what they are going through and I know they will stop when the time is ripe.

mine was a chronic one to d extend dat my mum will tell me to go and sun dry my bed without even go in to my room to check my bed. maybe its wet or not but I thank God for today

aitop: Mine was serious, I stopped bed wetting until I reached age 15. Each time I bed wet I felt normal about it until I reached age 13 when my friends started making jest of me. During age 13 to 15 the first thing I do is to check my trouser if it was safe then i thank God for safe sleep.

Mine was around 10!
In the North where I grew up, it wasn't uncommon to see young men roaming about with tamed Hyenas(mobile circus)! The general belief was that getting a Terrified bedwetter to mount a Hyena would end the practice!
After mounting 3 hyenas with no improvement, my mum gave up!
She told all the girls on our street so they'll mock me into stopping, for where?
Came to my class(she was PTA Chairperson) to plead with our classmates to beg me to stop, for where?

My Foam was always outside!

I can still remember myself bed wetting but I can't remember the age or class I stopped but I can vividly remember a spectacular incidence. I was about 7 or 8 years old and we travelled to the east for Christmas and to see grand ma. In my village, we do not kill snakes especially pythons. So on that fateful day, with the december harmattan breeze blowing fervently, I woke up late as usual but instead of my senior brother which I shared the same bed with being by my side, low and behod, it was a PYTHON! I jumped off the bed like a spring that was released from a faulty pen and ran outside crying (as I am typing this I am even scared). My uncles, aunties, cousins and siblings started laughing at me. My Grandma later told me that she told the man in the village who summons snakes to bring one into my room. She did that to "punish" me (I can't really recollect are reason) but it was shaa because I was bed wetting. Since that day, no I have never ever bed wetted. It was a successful remedy but it took me long before I could forgive her .

my bro md fun of me.. by calling my classmate to cm nd see me.. nd he told me my mum v come back..she travelled so i should cm.. i wnt to see my mom with my wet cloth.. behold it was my classmate... My mom later quraled him..

Chaii, bad memories. I stopped bedwetting at age 16. I cud bed wet twice in one night, even when u wake me up thrice in one night to urinate, I must bed wet. because of this i was denied spending weekends and hols at my relatives houses. I always slept on d floor till I was 16 make I nor for spoil my mama mattress. Mum would flog me whenever she discovers I don piss again; even in d middle of d night.

I stopped eating dinner, I stopped drinking water, I was treated with different herbal concussion but the thing nor stop.
That thing is natural. I don't even know how it stopped.

I swear, my bedwetting was so bad and shameful. I remember always praying to God before going to bed so that I won't bedwet that night. I don't want to talk so much about it. But finally, at the age of 15, I stopped it.
