This summer one of my many jobs (also hobby) is being a dance instructor. I teach a group of kids different types of dance: break dance, krump, dancehall (reggae) and on weekends capoeira (brazilian martial arts).

One of the kids i teach is a 12yr old girl who ive grown to love as my lil sis. Ive been her dance coach for 2 years now, and during those years we become close enough that she confides in me n tells me just about everything that goes on in her life be it family problems, school, or other stuffs. I'm the first person she comes to for advice. So yesterday after class she came up to me n just flat out told me that she was pregnant. She didn’t know what to do, hadn’t told no one else. Now ive always been able to help her out n give her good advice but this time im totally stunned i have no idea what to say to her. How do i go about it?

Please yall this is important this girl is like my lil sis. I love her to bits n I really wana help her out what do I do?

Yea this is really sad they have been cases as early as 11 yr old girls getting pregnant. the first the she has to do would be to tell her parents/guardian, no matter how hard they with handle the situation. she cant sneak behind their backs to try and abort it because she is so young and it can lead to death. Damn!!! She is too young to be having sex in the first place. The best thing to do in this position is to tell her parents or guardian. Thank God she is not in Nigeria, where she will definitely get her ass whooped

Well, i plan on being there to break it to her parents but i jus really dont know what to say. I mean just imagine hearing that your 12 yr old daughter is pregnant. It's a damn scary thought for sure. Worst thing about this whole thing is that the guy(he's 14) is one of my lil bro's buddies n my bro is just 11 what if he too starts messing with girls n gets em pregnant

Teezy this is a very sad story and i can imagine how bad you feel about it, now did you introduce, the guy to her as a boyfriend or just as a friend
if you introduced him as a boyfriend then thatz where you went wrong, though they were never right in doing what they did.
if you introduced him simply as a friend, then that makes it easier for you

Ask the girl how she knew that she's pregnant, you have to go with her to a hospital to confirm that she really is pregnant.
if she really is, you tell her gently but firmly that you will tel her parents, you have to sound serious about it so she doesnt think you're joking.
then the rest of the game is left to you to play, you need real courage, i mean you need to be very brave now

while at the dinner you call the father and tell him what the girl told you, this is not the kind of news you rush
say it into their ears gently but show that you feel bad about it. they will also feel bad and think they've not been able to take good care of their daughter
