Nice that, plus during the course of sleep your mouth produces/secretes so many enzymes(digestive enzymes and amylase enzymes). Digestive enzymes breaks down polymeric macromolecules(nucleic acids, proteins, and carbohydrates) into their smaller building blocks, in order to facilitate their absorption by the body.And you know enzymes are biological catalyst that speeds up a reaction. So during eating, assuming you did not obtain proper mastication, your saliva contains the enzyme amylase, also called ptyalin, which is capable of breaking down starch into simpler sugars such as maltose and dextrin that can be further broken down in the small intestine.This means that food may not have to lie for too long in your stomach before/while digestion sets in.

NOTE: If you brush before eating, chances are that you may kill/remove these useful enzymes as they are water soluble.

Concerning digestive catalytic enzymes, now I see the link why those days I brushed before eating, I kinda almost always got constipated especially when I used that devilish concoction called maclean abi na close up. Perhaps it was too harsh on those innocent digestive enzymes. I had to switch to Dabur herbal before everything changed. Then finally switched to Eat then brush.

Hahaha. I'm not jare. . Fate ll bring my wife my way.
