The army don't reason like civilians. They tink they know better than us. On the real sense they r just been wicked. Why send a soldier to war without equipping them. The general who sent them should be the one to be charged.

In as much as it is a painful penalty that awaits them, the trend must be halted otherwise, the military will loose its savour and discipline. However, I'm more concerned about the remote causes of all these mutinies. A well motivated soldier can never do that. Some times, at the point of making a sacrifice for your country you may wish to pause and wonder if it is worth it or not. Notwithstanding, in the military parlance, the reward of mutiny is death. All the Generals must be investigated and corrupt ones rooted out as well as those sympathetic to BH.

All these mutiny trials mean nothing until they start shooting errant and disloyal soldiers

Mutiny is not to be tolerated by by military.
But the question now is why,will these soldiers accept to risk their lives when big powers in the governments are Boko Hrm sponsors?
Why fight Boko Haram, that has been well armed to outmatch the Nigerian army?
If it were me, I would just simply desert and never wear the uniform again than wait to be slaughtered like an animal.
Let the reasons behind the mutiny be put into deep consideration by the judges.

A friend of mine said the weapons this BH guys use are more sophisticated than what our soldiers are given. Some of the guns won't even fire sometimes when they are face to face with BH guys.

i share ur passion, buh i am sorry, the reasons u listed above are not enough for mutiny. if u are conversant with military procedures, u will knw dt if an order is given, u obey it no mata how stupid d order is. if u are given an order to go and fight with dagger and ur opponent has gun, if there is no counter order to retreat u dare not. if u have only 1 ship and ur opponents have 10, if the order says defend the territory until u go down, u dare not retreat becos u are out-numbered.
