My boyfriend of almost seven years left me and like most women I was feeling sad, lonely, and wanting to feel loved again by someone. A friend suggested I try a dating app called “Tinder”. I have never used a dating site/app before but thought well what do I have to lose so I made an account. Pretty quick I matched with a gentleman from [city redacted], an Army EOD going by the name of [redacted]. He advised me to contact him via email because he is actually currently deployed in Syria. He said he had 18+ years and was getting ready to retire. After approximately two weeks, he said admin approved his leave, but in order to leave his deployment early. He sent me an email to request an early leave that led into a processing with codes. Then a percentage of his life insurance $2,700, $7,500, $18,000 to $24,000 to fly him home. Then came the email that he had a pending charge against him and they wanted an additional $48,000. Well as you can guess by that time I had no line of credit to get plus that is when I decided enough. They came back with a reduced fine $27,000.Video chats were impossible, he told me , because of spotty internet connections in Syria, but he sent me poems he claimed to have written. He said I should send what ever amount I had in my account. I send over send $3700 through a wire transfer for travel expenses. Hours passed , Days passed , weeks passed and I wasn’t contacted by my online lover whom I had sent money over to. I’ve been scammed $3700 by a Nigerian fraudster. I feel like committing suicide , I’m doomed.

As soon as the daughters are born, they automatically become the property of the lender. The purpose of the “Money Woman” is to bear children. The ‘owner’ is NOT obligated to take care of her. Here is where it gets interesting: in the event that the ‘money woman’ dies without having a child, the ‘owner’ is entitled to a replacement. Yes! The debtor will hand over another daughter to replace the dead one. While the ‘money woman’ is still with her ‘owner’, her family are free to come there to ask for anything they want – and they’ll be given. Cash items, goats, etc., but they don’t give the ‘money woman’ out of them. At the very best, the ‘money woman’ is to farm and find what she’ll feed on. No one takes care of her. Most of them had been pledged to their ‘owners’ before their births. Girls are given out as young as 4 years old. On an occasion, a girl was given out for a loan of N2,000. TWO THOUSAND NAIRA!. Should the ‘owner’ of the ‘money woman’ die, she gets taken over by his next of kin. This means she continues to produce children for him. If she dies, her family will offer a replacement WITH ANOTHER GIRL. A ‘money wife’ (also ‘money woman’) is NOT allowed to have an education. She is considered dead by her family. She is merely a gateway for their livelihood. I further decided to check the internet to confirm the validity of @NTANewsNow’s report and I found that @channelstv made a documentary about it three weeks ago. As gathered, girls aren’t always used to collect cash. Sometimes, they’re used to collect tubers of yam, goats, pigs. Farmlands aren’t part of what can be given. Most times, it’s perishables that are offered.A ‘money wife’ said in an interview that she was given out for N20,000 and a goat.

Another victim said upon the death of her ‘owner’ she attempted to return to her family, but they chased her back to where her owner’s family.Again, this evil is perpetrated by the Becheve tribe in Obanliku LGA of Cross River State.

Obanliku is 8 hours from the state capital Calabar. I can’t express fully how angry I was last night. But you see, let’s quit the charade on twitter and get to work in real life!

Young girls continue to be endangered, deeper than these stupid and fruitless twitter arguments detail. The society is where the real work is! A man has been arrested in South Africa after he allegedly murdered his girlfriend and burning her body to avoid be detected.

Citizen SA reports that Karabo had been declared missing on April 28, 2018, and after a long search, her body was found by the police and her ID in the dustbin, after investigations her boyfriend was arrested.

According to the victim’s father, Tshepo Mokoena, his daughter had been missing for about two weeks before her body was recovered. Her father who confirmed that the discovered body was that of his daughter, told reporters that the suspect had already murdered her before setting her body on fire.

One of the victim’s close friends, Steph Long who had been active in giving updates on the situation on her Twitter account with the handle.

Shortly after she was declared missing, Long posted this message a photo of the missing Karabo:



“My beautiful friend has been missing since about April 28. If you have seen her, please let me know.”



After days of searching for her, her father confirmed on Facebook that his daughter had been found dead and her body burnt by her killer . He alleged that someone close to his daughter confessed to him that they had killed Karabo and burnt her body.

The following day, Long again took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news:

“I posted this on the morning of the 29th not realizing that you were taken from me a few hours before.”

Giving another update, Long again posted:

“Karabo’s ID & passport found in a dustbin in Sandton. If anyone has any info on her disappearance. Please let me know.”

After the body was discovered, Long took to Twitter once again to announce it:

“Thank you, everyone. Unfortunately, Karabo Mokoena was murdered and her body burned. Her killer who is her boyfriend has been arrested

A former governor told me that he heard people on his cabinet were complaining that he was always talking about vision. They asked if it was vision they were going to eat. How can you win elections describing your vision for development when can’t conceptualize development?

My first few trips to the UAE, Europe and the US were paradigm shifting for me. It was a more powerful experience than watching movies or reading magazines. Normal was redefined. Some things I considered luxury became basic items. My environment and the way I do things changed.For example, my normal for an airport and public restrooms changed. Arriving at an airport, renting a car and driving on roads without potholes, where people obeyed traffic rules produced some emotions in me. Also, sighting a police patrol car in Dubai, Mercedes Benz E Class. What hope do we have that the political class will provide good roads, electricity, etc., which they have not done in almost 60 years? Citizens of France sacked the elite class; England curtailed the power; the US rejected the monarchy. They experienced the industrial revolution.

How do we get Nigerians to that place where their expectations are not for roads that will be washed away in one year, or substandard schools and hospitals, or banks that won’t give them credit. A place where they compel government to create the environment for them to prosper?

How do we get Nigerians to that place where they effect deep changes in themselves and in the political and economic structures? Sorry I’m asking more questions.

A Pietermaritzburg woman has been shot dead in front of her parents by her husband, who later turned the gun on himself.

Ntombizodwa Dlamini, 40, sustained two gunshot wounds to the chest and was declared dead in the bedroom of She had fled to her parents’ home, from her husband Sipho, after an altercation on Saturday night. The murder of Dlamini – who was a nurse at Edendale Hospital – was condemned by health MEC Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo as “barbaric” and “cruel.”According to the Department of Health, Dlamini had turned up for work on Sunday despite being battered and bruised after allegedly being assaulted by her husband on Saturday night.

A colleague noticed she was not well and advised her to see a doctor. After her appointment, she retreated to the safety of her parent’s home. However, her husband followed her there & found her sitting with her parents.

He demanded she come home with him but she refused. Fearing more blows, she ran into one of the bedrooms & locked herself inside. Her husband followed her, shot off the lock and kicked down the door before shooting her as her panicked parents and brother looked on in horror.

He fled the scene. However, Mbhele said his body was later found in Richmond. He had a gunshot wound to the chin.

The couple had two boys aged 8 and 11-years.

A 45-year-old man from Johannesburg South Africa received a suspended sentence of five years after he was caught having sex with an eight-month-old crossbreed dog called Blackie.



Fanroi kevi Mochachi, a father of six, was found guilty of bestiality in the Alexandra Regional Court last month.



Jaco Pieterse, a senior inspector at the Sandton Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), said they were extremely concerned about the sentence as Mochachi was now “roaming the streets unchecked”.



“The Sandton SPCA… would like to see much harsher sentences regarding the sexual violation of animals who, like children, are completely helpless to stop such violent attacks on them,” Pieterse said in a statement at the court room.



The statement said Alexandra Regional Court Magistrate Syta Pretorius suspended Mochachi’s five-year sentence after he pleaded guilty that he was drunk and unconscious.



“Magistrate Pretorius placed on record that the offense for which the accused was caught is serious, unnatural and barbaric, adding ‘worse still is that you are married and a role model to your six children and upsetting, as you will be expecting to engage sexually with your wife’,” the statement said read by a lawyer.



“She ended her statement by saying that his actions and that of others like him with an uncontrollable desire for sex on the sight of any female, child or dog was a shameful sign of low life which ought to be stopped.”



Pieterse said the uncle of the dog’s owners as well as other community members were expected to make affidavits soon in an attempt to obtain a protection order, which would prevent Mochachi from returning to the property where the crime occurred.



The statement said the Sandton SPCA and Women and Men Against Child abuse wanted to see harsher sentences in such cases.



The WMACA said sexual predators, regardless of the crime, should be monitored and crimes such as bestiality were “merely a stepping stone to sex crimes where victims could be other vulnerable beings, like children or young women”.

A black Louisiana man was arrested after playing a ‘God’s Plan prank’ at a local Walmart store in Louisiana .

According to police, Denzel Young, 53, entered a local Walmart and made a public announcement to costumers that he had recently won the lottery and will be paying for every customers’ cart saying: “Ay y’all, I just won the lotto a few days ago, everything’s on me, go get anything y’all want ama pay for them all''. Similar to rapper Drake’s ‘God’s Plan’ music video, where he enters a supermarket and pays for every customers’ cart. However, unlike Drake, As hundreds of customers happily ran to items they wanted, Denzel young nonchalantly sneak out the Walmart store, making his promise a lie.

Police officers who were in the store then ran out to arrest Denzel young. “He’s wasn’t gonna get away with it”, said an arresting female officer. “I got excited at the idea of finally owning a remote controller drone, then he just walks out the store”. The unnamed young girl, aged 19, was stabbed in the face after finishing work on Tuesday

She was attacked by an armed robber in the Malaysian city of Bukit Tengah at 9 : 30 pm on Tuesday.

This is the horrifying moment a teenager was found covered in blood with a knife embedded in her cheek and her hers red.



The unnamed 19-year-old shop assistant had finished work last Tuesday night and was walking to her when a robber confronted her.

The man allegedly grabbed the girl’s handbag but she resisted. He grappled with her before plunging the kitchen knife into her face and fleeing with her valuables in Bukit Tengah, Malaysia at around 9.30pm.

Footage from the scene shows her calmly sitting on a wall with the weapon sticking out just below her right eye while passers-by come to her aid.

Police said the girl was still conscious and was rushed to Bukit Mertajam hospital where she was recovering after the attack.

The girl could be seen with blood covering the front of her white shirt and the knife sticking out of her cheek

A 30-year-old woman from Bulawyo, Zimbabwe, identified as Marie suklo, is in a big dilemma after her husband who died four years earlier in a car accident has refused to let her have a normal life as he keeps coming back to have sex with her.

The widow who said her husband died when she was 26, believes she is under a kind of spell and wants help from some Sangomas (witch doctors), to free her from the grip of her late husband.

“I have gone through enough of this spiritual warfare. I’m a 30-year-old widow and my husband died 4 years ago when I was 26 years old. We had just gotten married when he died in a horrific car accident and died on the spot.

That was five months after we had been married. I got so emotional pain that I would mysteriously see him every night. He would be crying whilst looking at me and I thought I was dreaming but i’m awake.

Three months later, I felt like someone was waking me up at night and I was shocked to see him in my bedroom, sitting by side of the bed. I wanted to scream but he held my mouth and said he had come to help me since he had seen that I was suffering a lot.

I asked him how that was possible when he was dead and he said although we had buried him, his spirit had not departed. He said he still wanted to be with me for some time. He said he would look after me but he warned me against telling people about this development.

He said I should not tell even his own mother and I agreed not to. Since then, we have been living together as husband and wife with the ghost of my dead husband. He would buy groceries, buy me clothes, pay rentals and all.

Then there is a church I visited early this year and the pastor preached about not interacting with the dead. So now I want to stop living with this dead man but I don’t know how to go about it.

I really loved my husband and even up to now, I still love him dearly. He has never changed. He still is exactly like he was before he died. But what I have noticed is that he is not growing older. He still is exactly as he was when he died four years ago.

I don’t even have feelings for any other man. I feel like I’m a married woman. Our sex life has never changed. It’s still as it was before my husband died. But now I’m scared that I’m living with a corpse in the house. Maybe it’s because I’m now going to church. I have also not stayed with anyone in my house since my husband died. I always live alone.

At church, our pastor was once attacked with the demon of another man and the man of God collapsed, then became conscious later on. It’s evident that if I ask him to pray for my husband’s spirit to go away, that would be way beyond his powers.

I’m also afraid of telling my husband that I don’t want to live him with anymore. How do I tell him when he loves me so much? When visitors come to my house during the day, my husband mysteriously disappears and only returns when they are gone.

I have never told anyone about this strange encounter, this is my first time to open up about it. One day he told me that his spirit would depart when I breathe my last. So to him, as long as I’m alive he wants to be with me.

Is there any pastor or Sangoma who can solve this spiritual problem? I have been to well known local prophets, but they all failed to detect my dead husband’s spirit.

The Women and Youth Support Group says it believes that former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has what it takes to turn the country’s economy around , create jobs for the teeming youths, end Boko Haram , build roads and social amenities.

Noble Igwe, a Nigerian blogger, ignited a commotion on social media Saturday, hours after calling on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to intensify its crackdown on financial crimes culprits.

He urged the EFCC to “station” attendants at nightclubs in exquisite Lekki and Victoria Island neighbourhoods in Lagos.

Online and offline stores along the famous Admiralty Way in Lekki “are used for money laundering”, as well as similar stores off Fola Osibo Road, Mr Igwe said.

He also railed against “armed robbers” on Instagram for parading themselves as “G Boys’ when, in his opinion, they are actually into “a different type of stealing.”

This case of fraud, corruption, stealing, whatever the case may be and Nigerians enabling it is quite amusing and infuriating. A friend of mine visited Nigeria for some weeks and needed to replace her debit card at a Sterling bank branch. She got to the bank, requested for the card and was issued a new one later. What she didn’t know was that the person (bank official) who issued her card secretly copied her card details and stole a whopping sum of over 700k from her account. A bank staff member! I was baffled. I asked her how she rectified it. She said she went to the bank in a fit of anger and told the manager about it. They were only able to get back 250k and apologised immensely on behalf their bank official who stole it. By the way, he saw her enter the bank and avoided her. Bank manager had the guts to tell her that they’ve tried transferring the guy to another department but he wouldn’t bulge. This could highly mean that he has done this before. She pushed the agenda of him being sacked, but bank officials told her to “calm down”. . Amusingly, bank manager found out she doesn’t permanently reside in Nigeria, got her contact details and started toasting her. That was how she lost over 450k, bank official who stole it wasn’t sacked and bank manager toasted her. She couldn’t Engage a lawyer , she was just visiting Nigeria for short term. She got 250k out of over 700k stolen.

Harrison, known as the “Man With the Golden Arm,” has donated blood nearly every week for 60 years. After all those donations, the 81-year-old Australian man “retired” Friday. The occasion marked the end of a monumental chapter.

According to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, he has helped saved the lives of more than 2.4 million Australian babies.

Harrison’s blood has unique, disease-fighting antibodies that have been used to develop an injection called Anti-D, which helps fight against rhesus disease.



This disease is a condition where a pregnant woman’s blood actually starts attacking her unborn baby’s blood cells. In the worst cases, it can result in brain damage, or death, for the babies.

Here’s why:

The condition develops when a pregnant woman has rhesus-negative blood (RhD negative) and the baby in her womb has rhesus-positive blood (RhD positive), inherited from its father.

If the mother has been sensitized to rhesus-positive blood, usually during a previous pregnancy with an rhesus-positive baby, she may produce antibodies that destroy the baby’s “foreign” blood cells. That could be deadly for the baby.

Harrison’s remarkable gift of giving started when he had major chest surgery when he was just 14, the Australian Red Cross Blood Service said.



Blood donations saved his life, so he pledged to become a blood donor.



A few years later, doctors discovered his blood contained the antibody which could be used to create Anti-D injections, so he switched over to making blood plasma donations to help as many people as possible.



Doctors aren’t exactly sure why Harrison has this rare blood type, but they think it might be from the transfusions he received when he was 14, after his surgery. He’s one of no more than 50 people in Australia known to have the antibodies, the blood service says.





“Every bag of blood is precious, but James’ blood is particularly extraordinary. His blood is actually used to make a life-saving medication, given to moms whose blood is at risk of attacking their unborn babies. Every batch of Anti-D that has ever been made in Australia has come from James’ blood.” Falkenmire said. “And more than 17% of women in Australia are at risk, so James has helped save a lot of lives.”




Anti-D, produced with Harrison’s antibodies, prevents women with rhesus-negative blood from developing RhD antibodies during pregnancy. More than three million does of Anti-D have been issued to Australian mothers with negative blood types since 1967.



Even Harrison’s own daughter was given the Anti-D vaccine.



“That resulted in my second grandson being born healthy,” Harrison said. “And that makes you feel good yourself that you saved a life there, and you saved many more and that’s great.



The discovery of Harrison’s antibodies was an absolute game changer, Australian officials said.



“In Australia, up until about 1967, there were literally thousands of babies dying each year, doctors didn’t know why, and it was awful. Women were having numerous miscarriages and babies were being born with brain damage,” Jemma Falkenmire, of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, told CNN in 2015. “Australia was one of the first countries to discover a blood donor with this antibody, so it was quite revolutionary at the time.”


He’s won numerous awards for his generosity, including the Medal of the Order of Australia, one of the country’s most .

Atletico Madrid will play Nigeria in a post-season friendly on May 22, just six days after they play in the UEFA Europa League final.



According to AS’ Jose Pablo Diaz, Los Rojiblancos will play the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria, as part of the inaugural GOtv MAX Cup, arranged by video entertainment company MultiChoice Nigeria.



The match will also serve as preparation for Nigeria ahead of the World Cup, in which they’ll play in a group with Croatia, Iceland and Argentina.



La Liga president Javier Tebas said:
