Ladies and gentlemen, due to the amazing influx of verified contestants into this contest, we have decided to conduct a preliminary elimination round come Friday 14th November, 2014.

This would commence at 8pm, voting starts immediately threads are opened and closes at 12pm Saturday 15th November, 2014


PROCEDURE
Three threads would be created.

Contestants would be divided equally into three groups depending on their order of verification.

A specified number of contestants (which would be communicated on the D-Day) from each thread would qualify for the elimination rounds proper.

Please note:-
Campaigning WOULD NOT be tolerated on any of these threads.
A campaign thread would be opened immediately after nominations and verifications on Friday night.
There would be a judge and moderator to man each thread – They would Be Mentioned On That Day.

All contestants should keep tabs on their email. I just sent one to ALL contestants now.

With due sincererity and frankness. I joined this forum(nairaland) months ago with the motive to increase the members in here it was few days after nairaland hit 1 million member, i come in here just to read news and interesting stories on the front page only. Not knowing nairaland is more than dat. Few weeks ago i discovered that nairaland is just like a family house where members meet to share their views, belief and thougts.
It is partly a regret on my path that i did not interact with the members which denied my of the necessay popularity. I only break into the sport forum days ago and i have always update my guys in there with interesting football stories and debate.
In the same vein, I never knew there is a big contest like mr and miss nairaland until october 2014. Permit me to say am lucky, bcus i just accidentaly saw dis mr nairaland contest in the fp. I wud hav bin nowhere to be found.
Finally, am proud to be black and i dnt see my newness on nairaland as a road block on my way to pick the crown. I appreciate your insults and encouragements. As a yoruba adage says ' ki adupe lowo eni to wo ni to mo ni loju opo enia ni ko wo ibi ti awa'. Thanks to nihilist for your help so far. On dis note i say i nid ur supports.
