Most people blabbing here do not know whats'up in the Nike kingdom.

Neither the past nor the present Igwe of Nike can afford to build that house from just their legally acquired wealth, not to talk of underperformed liability like Gil Nnaji.

Gil Nnaji has been in politics for years without anything to show for it in his community. He is despised by all. His younger bro, Ike Nike has a far acceptance rate that he does.
For 8years plus, Gil Nnaji has been a siddon dey look in the HOR and Senate without any single contribution to any matter of discourse.

All the years the royal family politically ruled the community, they can never compare to only 2 - 4 years the local chairman position fell to a man called Mario.
He brought so much development to tge community like never see before. But like always, he go witch hunted and it passed back to the royal family.

There is so much backwardness in that place. Most of their youths do not go to school. They're all being paid every month for doing nada. Most of them now act as illegal law enforcers a.k.a local government agbero.

The royal family is poor, with no tangible establishment to their name. Their only saviour is the governor of the state which they luckily inter-married with.

Nigerians need to tackle their political problems from the local government up to the state government. Shouting GEJ and Buhari from today till 2019 will not change a single thing in an average Nigerian's life till they hold their local governments accountable.
The local and state governments steal the most amount and valuable funds which directly affects the Nigerian populace.
If you're more worried about the amount in the foreign reserve than the money set out to give you clean and accessible water in your village, then my people, cholera go kill una before finance minister go give press release

He cant build it. Igwe edward Nnaji married around 7 wives and has about 17 sons and after his death, the wealth was shared. There are other sons of the man who are barely comfortable. Its the few that are successful in business or politics that are making waves.

Non of them is even that successful in business. They're just a bit comfortable. Their only luck is that Odezuluigbo 1 had a lot of houses and lands (ofcourse) which they all shared.
The ones who got houses are living on the rent paid by tenants while the ones who got empty lands are doing what Nike people does best.

Any new person to the Nike community will easily mistaken this building is a four star hotel and would look with utmost doubt wheb he is finally told that it belongs to senator. Gilbert Nnaji the senator representing Enugu east senatorial district.
The building which sits comfortably on a large hectare of land is situated just opposite the Nike lake hotel Enugu. A rough estimate of the worth of the mansion can run in Billions.
Senator Gilbert Nnaji is unarguably one of the nominal senators in Nigeria, A stammerer who hardly makes any contribution in the senate floor and can easily come off as a misrepresentative instead of a representative served as a member of the house of rep for 8 years before going to the senate. Aside this building, he also has another mansion at New haven Enugu and is a lover of cars. He drives many luxury cars including Toyota prado 2013 model, BMW sedan bullet proof, cadillac Escalade 2012 model, toyota 4runner 2012 model amongst others.

The question remains, can a honest senator afford all this with the money they make legally.

N:B the pictures were taken from outside and from a long distance hence it cant be very clear.

So what is your point? How did you estimate the worth of the house? What makes him nominal? When did stammering become a hindrance to positive contributions, Why did your people vote for him if you felt so strongly about him

Are aware that all the vehicles you mentioned below could be in the garage of one small boy with a successful 419 bid? Just on deal?

My friend go and find a way of making your own money and stop being jealous

UNTIL WE LEARN TO BASE OUR CRITICISMS ON ISSUES AND NOT PERSONALITIES, OUR SOCIETY CANNOT IMPROVE. THERE ARE ANTI-GRAFT AGENCIES IN PLACE TO TACKLE CORRUPTION. ONE IS FREE TO REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS CORRUPT ENRICHMENT. IT HAS ALSO BEEN OBSERVED THAT EACH TIME THERE IS A POST INVOLVING SENATOR NNAJI, IT IS LACED WITH PAROCHIAL SENTIMENTS INFORMED BY BY NIKE INTERNAL DYNAMICS. PEOPLE SHOULD STOP BEING PETTY JUST FOR THE SAKE WHAT THEY CAN EAT. NOBODY HAS DENIED THE FACT THAT THE WHOLE TERTIARY INSTITUTION BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE IN ENUGU STATE AS WELL AS VIRTUALLY ALL THE SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN ENUGU-EAST CONSTITUENCY HAVE EACH A FULLY-QUIPPED ICT LABORATORY, COURTESY OF GILBERT NNAJI. AGAIN, HE HAS NEVER USED GUN TO ACQUIRE POWER. PEOPLE RATHER GIVE HIM THEIR MANDATE. ANOTHER ELECTIONS ARE BY THE CORNER. IF DISSATISFIED WITH HIS REPRESENTATION, USE YOUR VOTE. THIS SITE IS FOR SOCIAL INTERACTIONS AND NOT HATE SPEECHES. THOSE PROMOTING THESE BASELESS SENTIMENTS ARE AFRAID OF COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION. MAY GOD BLESS US!

Why won't Gilbert Nnaji have a house like this? The man has held every political position under the sun since my secondary school days. State house of rep,Local Government chairman, national house of rep and now senator. So how will he not have a 'Castle' like this? Also remember that his father was the 'Igwe' of Nike and virtually controlled the politics of Enugu North. Nigerian politicians are all rogues,in fact, they don't bother hiding theft any more. Like they say, 'everyday is for the thief but just one day is for the owner'. A day of reckoning will come when men like Gilbert will have to tell the people where they got the money to build houses like this.

Nigerian Senators are the highest earners in the world!

With his official salary and allowances ONLY he can build that house 2 times WITHOUT corruption!!!

Did you spend time to check Nigerian Senator's official package
Then add the lobby money to that and you do the maths!!!

Almost all the Nigerian Parliamentarians are not really representing their constituents, rather they are protecting their selfish interests. Needless, to ask why, just walk around your native wards and local areas, you will hardly feel the impact of ''Constituency Allowance''

No, I'm saying: whether you like it or not that senator WILL build that mansion!

Now, if you have a problem with the senator's stewardship then bring your points to the table of public opinion and NOT his house.

Let us discuss substance, I mean, let us discuss real issues!!!

What are the expectations of the constituency from their Senator = topic of discussion.

His house is NOT = topic of discussion!
You are absolutely wrong about your tone of whether Chou likes it or not. If Nigeria is a real democracy (which they are not) a public servant won't be building mansions whether he likes it or not. He may even be restrained, even when it's legitimate because it does not put him a good stade with that elected them to serve. especially when he represents mostly poor populace.
It is your sort of attitude that give those that supposed to be scared of the electorate and what they think of them, to act as if the same electorates are their slaves as they act with impunity.

What are the duties and expectations of a Senator

This is where the discussion should centre!
Otherwise, waste of valuable time.

I believe the questions will be
1. What has this senator dine for his constituents since elected.
2. How much money has been allocated to his constituents since elected
3. How has the said monies been used since elected.
4. Who have been the beneficiary of the said monies and projects since elected.
5. Has the said senator given his constituents a financial account of his stewardship since elected .
6/ when was the last time the said senator held a meeting with the different towns and villages that make up his constituents.
7 what was the said senators financial standing before being elected.
And the list goes on.
As long as the senator can not give a credible account of his stewardship to the people that elected him, his mansion am afraid gives a horrible credibility gap that raises a lot of questions... And as such a fair game.

Thanks

You see yourself

Senator is NOT a Governor!!!

Senator has NO budget allocation!!!

Senator CANNOT account for any money because there was NO money ab initio!!!

Mr Senator please can you in a simple language explain to us the illiterate unintiated citizens of Nigeria

1. the function of a senator

2. what is a constituency project fund and how much does a senator get per year ?

3. What is a Constituency allowance and how much accures to a senator per year?

4. who manages aka who decides how and where these funds should be used or invested.?

5.Which communities in your constituency have benefited from these funds.

6. When was the last time you gave your constituencies a breakdown of how these funds were used since you became a senator?

Am sure they your SUBJECTS will be interested in talking about these projects as related to these funds rather than your place of abode,

thanks sir and be well
