Scope of work in Chemical Engineering? Lol...don't get me started. The Essay would just be too long.

There's no place a student can't survive. People just tend to Make alot of fuss about some courses.

Last bullet, PLEASE, don't come to Engineering if you're not good both MATHEMATICALLY AND ANALYTICALLY.

Sure you can. But, you'll need a hell of Hard work. To make things easier, I'ld recommend Engineering Mathematics by KA Stroud. The part I of the Ordinary Text is a preliminary part, it builds your mathematical skills and helps groom you for the stage ahead.
Since you're coming from the Medical line, I think to an extent you'ld be good in Chemistry and Physics...If you're good in both, I'ld advise you opt for CHEMICAL Engineering..
