A society where extortion is the order of the day. It is like Ali Baba and the 40 thieves; who will complain to who? Even the SUG still extorts money from their fellow students then lord it over them on top.

Even when you graduate and demand for transcript. ..they will charge you outrageously.
35k for UNN transcript is ridiculous.. about the same price for uniport.

Poor man children nor fit go university again? This is why majority of our female undergraduates are runs girls. They try to keep up with the bills.

As much as I agree with the main focus of this thread, I disagree with this particular quote ! Most of these girls do runs to be seen as 'big' girls amongst their peers, get the latest phones, stay in posh hostels and if possible own a car.

You'll hardly ever see a girl sleep around to pay her school fees, so so rare !

When it comes to extorting money from students... Uniuyo is second to nonecheesy

Imagine...the acceptance fee for UNICAL is 10k...
UNIUYO is 15k.

Most universities release their second admission list free of charge... but in UNIUYO you've to pay from 1k to 2k according to how late you were.

After you've scaled through this hurdle and finally go for screening... much more surprises awaits you.

This is why I always fantasize becoming a lecturer or working in the university.

Okay.... You're vexing because Uniuyo is 15k?

When UNIBEN is 45k for acceptanceundecided

Smh, the rate at which our higher institutions extorts money from students is quite appalling. The one dah annoys me d most is '' Acceptance fees'' why on earth would anybody pay for accepting d admsn, after d stress one must have passed through sitting for jamb, post utme and all dat and its not as if any formal letter is given after paying d so called acceptance fees.
Its just a pity shaa but i don't blame dem, after all someone said '' STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION''

12k for non-indigenes,10k for indigenes
You got it quite wrong.
Remember you pay acceptance for in 100level which is 45k, then your school fees for 100level is around 48k or more, it's the subsequent payment that is 12k (200level and above).

Isn't to be compared with ABSU fees, acceptance is 50k for proffessional courses and 45k for non. Same thing is applicable when it comes to developmental fee and Accreditation fee. Well let me not continuo in discouraging you from bringing your ward.

you sure say you have seen the maingate of uniben before or they told you?.

Uniben pay 45k as acceptance fee and 46k as school fees for non science students and 49k5h for science students in hundred level.

Then from two hundred down all students(whether indegene of not) pay 12k for non science and 14k for science students.

Please note that uniben does not do indigene in payment of any fee as the school belongs to federal govt. Not state.

Moreover, you still have my message pending (Jennimma)

That's a lie o, as a 100 level student, I paid 38 as skl fees, from 200l and above is 12 or 14 I think, dependin on your course, final year for those paying 12 is 17. There's nothing like indigenes and non-indigenes.

Uniben school fees is not classified according to d way u wrote it.
You pay 12k as school fees if u are studying courses that involve practicals and use of laboratory and workshops like engineering, medcine, dentistry, pharmacy, agriculture, life and physical sciences.

And 10k if u are in management sciences, law and arts
