Large gap can increase the risks of divorce in a relationship/marriage.the larger the age gap between you and your partner,the more likely the marriage will end in divorce.

There are number of reasons why a large age gap could increase the chances of a split,but i will just emphasize on one cos i have witnessd it severally.

If the older partner has already achieved a lot of life goals,such as having children,buying a car or travelling,their goals may not be in sync with those of the younger partner.many arguments can occur as a result,as the expectations of the younger partner may not be met.

However,if their is an age gap in a relationship and both partners share similar hopes and dreams for the future,or have been able to come to a happy compromise.this may help to strenghten the relationship.
