It's quite pathetic watching intelligent and respectful Nigerians especially youths buy into this propaganda and smear campaign of the PDP.
For those saying Show us the certificate every other minute, Why don't you ask yourself this question for the sake of your descendants, When Buhari finally shows you his certificates, will you vote for him?
I guess your answer may still be no, so why don't you tackle the candidate on issues that you believe will be for the progress of this country and see if he's got the right answers for you.

That is another thing. Sitting for exam doesn't mean you passed and earned your certificate.

For instance you can't be a lawyer without passing 'Bar Exam', because you don't have a certificate and license. It is illegal to practice Law or be an attorney without passing the exam.

Just sitting for the 'Bar Exam' doesn't prove you have the intelligence to PASS it and gain your license and certificate.

Be guided, d constitution does not state "PASS".......all requirement is just an evidence that u sat for d exam.

U seems to be in legal profession and u couldn't remember that such a precedent had been upheld before supreme court.

the constitution did not say that sir. Go and read that section again. It never mentioned that a candidate MUST show certificates.

The bolded quote is an indictment of the Nigerian Army. How come they have copy of the letter from the principal (testimonial), but they do not have a copy of his WAEC certificate or any other certificate he obtained while on military courses around the world? Is the Army insinuating that Buhari did not submit his WAEC certificate before admission into the army or he submitted it and the army misplaced it. Either way the Army has a lot of explaining to do.

Ask another question, like; why is it the Army after 50 years still has his letter of recommendation, 199A form.... and other current and past leaders forms on file, but not Buhari's certificate?

They haven't lost or destroyed any information.

The truth is they never ever received Buhari's certificate. It has never been on file.

You can only find such with accidental PhD holders. I was even told Peche wrote his thesis for him even in her state.

Using lies to cover lies.

Buhari said he graduated in 1961 with Yar Adua but it is on record that Yar Adua entered the Nigerian Army 1959.

Was Yar Adua in the Army before he had his SSCE?

Buhari could have done best to keep quiet.

my opinion is that the APC has done virtually everything right for the forthcoming presidential election except the handling of the certificate issue which they should not have dismissed even though it is seeming irrelevant in this case. They should have made the moves they are making now earlier to quickly silence their opponents.

What a shameful assumption for a man that calls himself mr INTEGRITY. Just shaking my head for the educated ones that refuse to see the damage this guy has done to their followership and education in Nigeria.This is not the kind of change we are agitating for.

When other countries are raising their standard our own is to maintain status quo, still the North refused to upgrade. In fact, the North needs to be relegated to the desert till they accept civilization.

Lied under oath, lied on top IBB. And we are still saying whether he presents bread label we will vote him, and l call that BACKWARD BLIND CHANGE.
We need change but we should not be too hasty and naive in doing that.

If he indeed wrote the exam, how come it never occurred to him to update his file in the military?? Now APC is running around like a headless chicken trying to damage control a born to rule mentality

Do you even know why they give Letter of Recommendation at all?

GMB applied to join the army in 1961. it is the same year that he was in form six. For the school principal to have issued such Letter of Recommendation to him, it simply means that it is either they haven`t sat for the Cambridge/WASC or they have sat for it but the result wasn`t out as at that time but he needs a proof that he was already in form six.

We all do that when we want to sit for JAMB exams in the final class of our secondary school days. We simply write AWAITING RESULT where we`re suppposed to write our WAEC results. It is when we are admitted that we`ll then present out result for clearance.

That`s exactly what must have happened in GMB`s case since his exams grade was later filled in his entry form.

but if I come for a job interview or apply for job in your company and I tell you that I had a master degree in public administration, without showing it (photocopy or original), how would you know whether am lying or not??

Your analogy is FAULTY. WAEC No and Matric No are two different things without similarity. The former is an evidence of participation in an examination while the latter is an evidence of being a student in an institution of learning.

it would not matter if Buhari was not aligned with Tinubu.. I love Buhari for his strength of character when he whipped Nigerians in line with Discipline and Performance.. War Against Indiscipline, that Legacy alone has stayed uptill this very day and will continue long after Buhari is gone. This Certificate issue is a Non-issue for me.. unfortunately Nigerians will remain Nigerians.. Olusegun Aganga is as clueless as a door-nail yet he is a minister.. so is Okonjo Iweala.. but these two ingrates continue to sink Nigeria deeper into debts and economic non-performance
