To be honest, all this adjusted for inflation things does not make sense to me. Because, the market of then and now we're totally different. Outside the US and some European countries, who really had any interest in start wars back then? In Africa and some part of Asia, they matched most of the these movies years later.

I'm not talking about the eternals, I'm talking about comic books generally and Hercules is actually bisexual in Greek mythology and that will inspire the movie, There won't be any gay character in the next Thor installment so Jane Foster definitely won't be gay or bi, what if they make some characters gay? DC in association with their sister network CW have a lot of gay characters notably in their tv adaptations, marvel is just about to portray that for the first time, so what gives? Many gay comicbook characters from the 80's, 90's and 2000's have been straightwashed for larger audiences and profits, no one said anything, it's just one gay character, no need to get your wings in a bunch, let's see if the eternals will flop despite the star power
