70% probability that Nadal would take this. 5th set, over 4 hours and the spaniard is still running. I no longer believe Blacks are the strongest people in the world Federer holds on trails 4-2 in the second set. But these unforced errors would cost Federer |

Re: Australian Open 2009 - Men by dinozzo(m): 2:08pm On Feb 01, 2009 |
its looking that way now, Nadal just has to serve for the match if he doesn't break Federer in this game that is. |

Re: Australian Open 2009 - Men by ayexel: 2:52pm On Feb 01, 2009 |
femzy:what do u mean by asying he is lazy, he cant be there for life, he took ovver from someone, so someone else has to take over from him.Enuff respect to roger u can still equal or even break petes record keep going.lets see how far nadal can go.He is yet to get to half way of federer's 13 slams. So King Roger is not lazy. |
Re: Australian Open 2009 - Men by bagoma(f): 3:30pm On Feb 01, 2009 |
romeo: Ouch! did you have to put it that way? I felt like crying with him too. Roger is just too emotional. he's made a few players cry back in the day, not least of them Rafa. If i remember correctly, he made my Agassi cry like a baby not so long ago, so i guess what goes around comes around. In the end i felt so sorry for him, he is way too emotional, well he's only but a boy! |
Re: Australian Open 2009 - Men by romeo(m): 3:42pm On Feb 01, 2009 |
bagoma: That was too hard for him to take!! Rafa won the psychological warfare and poor Roger just broke down and cried it all out |

well.captain caveman did it . well done that guy is a real beast. i have give it up i was impressed with how well he held it together. but fedex is really worrying me.i don't mind him losing a final like he did at Wimbledon last year.but for a player who has won 13 grandslams, has some of d best carreer stats in tie-breaks and grand slam finals, not to mention blessed with an immense all-round game not seen for a while to mess up in d way he did signals a big and real problem. i mean a litany of unforced errors on small as well as crucial points. double faults at d wrongest possible times. he first serve % was appaling and that was right from d first set before nadal had even begun to apply any pressure on it. not to mention d way he seem to give up d ghost when d fifth set started.its clear now that roger will never be outrightly d best player on tour anymore, probably he may never be world no. 1 again. but he will still win a few more slams as he can still be beat any player when he gets his act together.once more congrats to captain caveman its now his time shine and shine he certainly will. |

Where were all these emergency Rafa fans when he was having trouble with Verdasco? Una dey watch tennis only during finals? Rafa has finally banished his hard court demons. Bring on the red clay!!! Sorry Roger, try again next yr . . . by which time the other dudes would have caught up with you. |

Re: Australian Open 2009 - Men by Nobody: 8:30pm On Feb 01, 2009 |

big congratulations to nadal, i am his biggest fan from day one. even when pple only refer to him as just a clay-courter but now he has proved that nothing is impossible with hardwork and God on ones side make pple no beef am. it takes hardwork and dedication nadal is also very humble as he still refers to fed as the best player in the world |
Re: Australian Open 2009 - Men by A40(m): 12:46am On Feb 02, 2009 |
I tried to tell y'all about Nadal and his recuperative powers but no one would listen as it stands now Nadal owns Federer and the only way Federer is going to equal Sampras is if he does not meet Nadal in another final he simply cannot cope with the sheer power of Rafa |
