We all know who their target audience is.
The same people who felt compelled to join Boko Haram are the same people now shouting 'Sai Buhari'.
Jonathan is disliked but if the APC were serious why could they not find a more credible candidate?
As much as people like Madiba he really didn't do much to change the landscape of South Africa - the same inequalities persist. There was no land reform during his tenure and very light economic reforms that failed to touch the overwhelming majority, those that have benefited were at some point allied with the ANC.
Reagan and his Reaganomics and the lightly regulated banking system led to the credit crunch that led to a Savings and Loans company crisis and has been seen most recently with the severe credit recession that the western World is only just emerging from. Reagan also tripled the American national debt to the point that when he left it stood at 2.8 trillion - America will never be able to repay its debts as a result.

Jonathan is not disliked as social media will want you to think.
As per Madiba, governance is continuum.
He's played the most difficult part, those succedding him should continue with the rest.
Read about the US domestic situation prior to Reagan.

|Re: Top 5 Leaders Who Ruled At Age 70. by mmsen: 6:57pm On Mar 24, 2015|
I know all about the US domestic situation prior to Reagan, I also know that it was largely caused by American manufacturing decline, poor economic and foreign policy decisions. Reagan continued many of these dreadful foreign policy choices, primary of which was the escalation of the Cold War which was good for the military industrial complex (and the economy) and a began a futile war on drugs which was good for the military and law enforcement but terrible for American society.
Reaganomics is also the reason why the World Bank was pushing SAPs, the same programs that ruined the economies of many a developing nation including Nigeria.

To paraphrase Bill Clinton the problem is not the age of Buhari, but the age of Buhari's ideas.
