grin grin grin My Brother Borno state is strictly military infact Army grin

That is why I did not comment on the initial story of AK 47 getting three Guntrucks.

Baba if you dey where AA fire na that time you go know say one AA Guntrucks fit be 100 AK47.

AA guns are mad
If it's not for the bestiality of Bokoharam AA is not meant for humans infact it's a war crime to use it against a human being. Such high calibre weapon is meant to bring down aircraft. If AA bullet touches any of your body that part is gone for good that's if one miraculously survives it.

One easy way of containing the SARS menace in the southern part of Nigeria is to immediately redeploy erring officers to the northeast especially on offences that borders on abduction /extortion, that way there will be minimal collateral damage both to the erring officer and the populace. It will be a win-win situation they should go and show their gallantry with the soldiers there.

Your kinda truth you mean? how can a sensible person question a Disciplinary process of the army because he borrowed data from MTN?
Does that sound normal to you?

Gen. Adeniyi allowed himself to be flanked by the enemy, wasted men & resources, the dumpster truck issue happened under his command, yet did a video to tell the world he deserves a medal, look bush abeg!!

Burantai can go but who in the rank of our present Major Generals can be a better replacement? accomplished in theater without blemish, who?? You guys don't get it, Burantai is the least of our problems.

NAF LOSES FLYING OFFICER TOLULOPE AROTILE IN ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT IN KADUNA

It is with great sorrow that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) regretfully announces the unfortunate demise of Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, who died today, 14 July 2020, as a result of head injuries sustained from a road traffic accident at NAF Base Kaduna.‬ Until her death, ‪Flying Officer Arotile, who was commissioned into the NAF in September 2017 as a member of Nigerian Defence Academy Regular Course 64, was the first ever female combat helicopter pilot in the Service.‬ During her short but impactful stay in the Service, late Arotile, who hails from Iffe in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, contributed significantly to the efforts to rid the North Central States of armed bandits and other criminal elements by flying several combat missions under Operation GAMA AIKI in Minna, Niger State.

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, on behalf officers, airmen, airwomen and civilian staff of the NAF, commiserates with the family of late ‪Flying Officer Arotile‬ over this irreparable loss. We pray that the Almighty God grants her soul eternal rest.

NIGERIAN ARMED FORCES INVESTIGATE PURPORTED VIRAL VIDEO BY A NAVAL RATING

1. The attention of the Nigerian Military has been drawn to a video trending in some quarters alleging maltreatment of one Seaman Haruna Goshit (a naval rating) by a senior naval officer. In the viral video, the said naval rating stated how he was unjustly maltreated by a superior senior naval officer. However, in line with global best practices, the Military High Command has commenced investigation on the viral video with a view to unraveling the true state of affairs.

IN DARING OPERATION, NIGERIAN POLICE RESCUE SOLDIERS ABDUCTED BY BOKO HARAM IN BORNO STATE.
,,,,,,It was a joint operation with the Nigerian Air Force

The Nigerian Police Counter-Terrorism and Counter-insurgency Special Forces have rescued soldiers kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State, North East Nigeria.

In a ‘Situation Report’ (SITREP) sighted by Global Sentinel on Tuesday, the terrorists had killed two soldiers and abducted several others after attack on the Nigerian Army patrol team in Aonu near Maiduguri Metropolis.

According to the report, the attack happened at about 2.38pm on Monday “along Aonu Road, killing two soldiers and kidnapped others”.

The terrorists were also said to have carted away two gun trucks, 60 AK 47 rifles and unspecified number of ammunition.”

However, the Counter Terrorism Unit of the Nigerian Police said they were able to pinpoint the location of the terrorists at Aonu town and went after them.

The Police source said after engaging the terrorists in gun duel, their forces were able to recover one of the “gun trucks, the rifle, ammunition and rescued two soldiers alive.

“All the recovered items were handed over to the Borno State Commissioner of Police and the area of Operation is calm.”

The operatives have since returned to their CTU base in Maiduguri.

Further information also gathered by Global Sentinel is that the Operation was jointly carried out with the Air Task Force of the Operation Lafiya Dole as was confirmed in the tweet with accompanying video

HOW I FOUGHT BOKO HARAM TO REGAIN MY FREEDOM – TRAVELLER,,,, A survivor of a suspected Boko Haram abduction has described how he fought to regain his freedom.

Travelers along the Maiduguri-Damaturu expressway were ambushed on Monday, at around noon by unknown men dressed in military camouflage.

The attack occurred in Auno village where vehicles conveying passengers were hijacked and driven off by the suspected insurgents, survivors said.

“I am a graduate and was on my way to Damaturu, the Yobe State Capital to submit my application for the recently advertised DSS recruitment when we were abducted,” a survivor, who preferred to remain anonymous, told a Channels TV correspondent on Tuesday.

“On our way, I engaged one of the armed terrorists in the bus in physical combat and pushed him down from the moving vehicle, we fell off together.

“As an Ex-Jam, immediately we fell from the moving vehicle, I wrestled the gun from the terrorist who was badly hurt from the fall.

“The other terrorist who was driving the bus was also attacked by some young men in the bus, the vehicle hit a tree and stopped.

“That was how we and some few others were able to escape the kidnap. This was around 1 pm, in broad daylight. We eventually found our way and headed to Jakana!

“The number of passenger vehicles hijacked by the terrorists were more than 15 in number.

“Women, Children, families were all abducted yesterday. The terrorists had a filled day yesterday.

“The reason we escaped from the others is that the terrorist who drove our vehicle took a different route from the convoy of the other kidnapped vehicles and were left far behind.”

Meanwhile, the Borno State Command of the Nigerian Police said it has recovered a cache of arms at the crime scene, where the travelers were reportedly abducted.

The Commissioner of Police Mohammed Ndatsu, in a news conference on Tuesday in Maiduguri, displayed the recovered arms before journalists.

“Our men at Auno discovered that there was cut off in the movement of vehicles from Damaturu to Maiduguri,” the Commissioner said. “That gave them the feeling that maybe something is happening. They went on the road and got a hint that there was an attack, but according to what we heard, they said the military was moving and they were ambushed.

“They moved for assistance and rescue but on the way, they saw a vehicle on fire and another camo hilly upside down and that attracted their attention and they went towards it. Away from it, there were some arms and ammunition which were recovered and there was a corpse. That corpse we wouldn’t know if it was as a result of the exchange of fire because he wasn’t dressed in any uniform.”

According to the police, it is not clear if the arms belong to any of the security agencies or the Boko Haram insurgents.

Investigation to determine that is ongoing.

Weapons recovered include; eight AK47, AA 2, one MG, two magazines with 51 rounds, 270 rounds of ammunition of MG, and 4 spare barrel.

That sitrep story is a lie, in the official report released by the police, they noticed there was stop in flow of traffic, as they were advancing they saw a vehicle on fire and another one upside down, but they heard soldiers were Engaging the bht, and they saw these weapons laying about, they didn't know if it was for soldiers' or BHTs' that's when they heard the jets and retrieved the weapons they saw , and withdrew, they didnt save any soldiers or engage the bht.
