That's a Chinese Type-56C with fore-grip, not a Beryl.

Yeah..designed by the Air Force for base defence. It uses fragmentation warheads. Its too small to be used on a tactical battlefield.

Confusion has returned again to the battle space. The bhts have the initiative, and they will soon hit maidugri hard.
Acting president Osibanjo should fire buratai before Bihari gets back.

NA and it's leadership need to stop playing around with the lives of their troops, and the lives of the Nigerian people.
I think this lack of seriousness or politicking, is why CAS seems to want to do his own thing with the air force, and expose the army for the frauds they,or are becoming.

When is the last time you heard that bhts overran a Chadian base or even a Cameroonian base. Rarely, I bet it has something to do with their obsession with big long range anti aircraft artillery. Cameroon has brand new Chinese APCs from which they could direct accurate, computer targeted mortar fire on the enemy, while forcing the enemy to duck and cover from their AAAs. chad can employ BMW-21 marls and their AAA to thwart any bhts moves against them.
If you have observed how the Chadians role, they are constantly on the move, with their stores, RPGs tied to their trucks in bundles.
So the don't repeatedly leave them behind when they have to maneuver like NA does.

Having ranger units trained in Pakistan or Belarus, doesn't mean that the command is committed to counterinsurgency warfare. Who has trained the generals, so the AFSF can be utilized appropriately.

They are supposed to be harassing bhts from behind their lines, than being formed into glorified assault infantry.

Again, counterinsurgency is about continuous cycles of Find, Fix, Flank, Finish. Let the CJTF arm themselves properly and protect their own villages and convoys.
They are better at it anyways.

As of this writing the Chadian army is superior to the Nigerian army in every category except tanks...and for that no problem, unable to match Nigeria's huge tank regiments they have stockpiled almost 200 MILAN anti-tank missiles. These missiles can be fired from standoff distances and wipe out Nigerian tanks with little efforts. This country's military is at its weakest in living memory.

Chad Gives Libyans A 24-hour Ultimatum To Free All Migrants

had gives Libyan government 24-hour ultimatum to free all migrants or face serious consequences

IDRIS DERBY, the President of the Republic of Chad, broke the silence on the ongoing slave trade in Libya by giving the Libyan government and its people 24 hours to liberate all Africans held as slaves and all African migrants in their country . Otherwise, he warns, he will act out of bounds with the power of the force.

Current situation: more than 10,000 armed soldiers are seen deployed on the Libyan border with Chad !. Chad has one of the best land-based soldiers in Africa, well suited for fighting in extreme heat and dangerous terrain. Chad’s forces have presented some remarkable tactical innovations.

In a modern version of the traditional raid of looting, they used Toyota all-terrain vehicles, French-made Panhard light armored vehicles, and anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles to destroy the modern Soviet T-55 tanks. Indeed, four-wheel drive Toyota has routed a fleet of tanks. Soviet, French and American armaments designed for very different terrain.

They almost single-handedly crushed Book Haram and chased them out of the Sambisa Forest. It takes a Chadian infantryman no more time than a Frenchman to learn how to handle a French-made weapon.

Chadian, Cameroonian FOB have been over runned this this month.

The only thing I have noticed is this guys do not spend much time on Cameroon territory before running away due to air power. They have assets to deploy but ours are over stretched.

BHT may decide to hit maiduguri but they will be hit very hard before getting to the town. They can only work on using vbied.

Attack on maiduguri has seen up 3 gunships deployed with support from fighters.

The only issue is mastering military strategy. Several things need to be involved. We also possess some capabilities but are not used in the right way therefore making the war look so conventional like a regular fight.

This is why they find it easy to take on non specialized units. Non specialized units are also equipped with small arms in large scale so this help their inventory.. RPG, bullets etc.

The truth is Chad and Cameroon, like any sane country takes the security of their country seriously. Boko Haram will be hunted down and wiped out if it ventures far into Chadian territory and they know it. Enter Nigeria... GDP $1 trillion (PPP), huge energy reserves...15 years of war..just take a look at the Nigerian military. Compare what Nigeria spends, compare it to the Chadian or Cameroonian armed forces. Truth is we are being led by leaders whose level of incompetence may be unprecedented in human history.
